Doesn't really matter what you were able to get on board. Extension cords technically are not allowed and if found in checked or carry-on bags may be confiscated. Of course it's possible that they won't find it and you will be able to use it, but that doesn't mean they are allowed.

I drove 80 MPH in a 65 MPH zone last week and didn't get a ticket. But that doesn't mean that I wouldn't have gotten one if the police had clocked me on their radar gun.

I'm not MDTerp, but I can tell you that Wonder and Magic have keypad safes, and no card is needed for the lights!

How long of an extension cord do you use? I have a cpap and have been wondering what length to bring.

On the Magic, my wife was able to plug her CPAP in beside the bed. There was an outlet for a clock that we used. I have always requested water and an extension cord (if needed) on our reservations before hand.

We carry a small extension cord for charging purposes.

We will be on the Wonder next Monday as well.

I have not had any trouble with our 5 sloth power bar to charge our video and photo batteries or phones.

The safe are all keypads now and you will need a mag strip card for the lights.

It has never happened when I brought one, on several cruises.

Not on the Wonder. Dream and Fantasy only. Unless they've installed it on the Wonder since a year ago.

You shouldn't need a magnetic card for the lights On the Dream or Fantasy (At least, not unless they've changed the lights since November?). Any credit-card sized card will do, magnetic or not.

The wife and I have been on 5 Disney cruises. We both have a power cord in our checked luggage. this past cruise out of Galveston, mine was confiscated by port authority, but my wife's went through. Of course I did not find out until we were out of port. I was less than pleased and let Disney know it.

Hope since stateroom attendent who was excellent, did not say any thing that we were in technical violaction she would have said something. She was very courtious to point out to us that we were messing up ac system leaving balacony door open.

You thing maybe Magic and WONDER Were built before the electronic erruption of smart phones that are your camera, and tablets that for many are their right hand, and many other things like wave phones. So plug strips, extention cords with expanding plugs, or plug in expanders are now accepted as part of the territory. PS they rasied the speed limit to 80 here so you would be OK.

I think the key wording here is extension cord vs power strip. Extension cords aren't allowed but policy says nothing about power strip. Guess we will find out!
