Is MNSSHP worth it?

I really want to see the parade fireworks and characters, however we are not going with any kids, and it is pricy... Is it worth it to go? Has anyone been there without kids?

Also it it a bit crazy with all the kids running around? Will we be overwhelmed?

I think it is worth it at least once, kids or not.

Where else could a pair of adults go Trick or Treating without feeling silly. You'll have a great time, plus the decorations, shows and characters are different from what you would normally see.

DH and I went last year for the first time. We don't have kids, so it was just us and we loved it! It wasn't even a question that we would do it again during our trip this year.

Also, I didn't feel overwhelmed at all by the crowd and really enjoyed seeing everyone's costumes. And if you don't want to trick or treat all that much, you'll avoid a lot of the crowds anyway. We did trick or treat some though and got tons of candy. it's really worth it for the parade, and I'm not even much of a parade person.

We've been to several Christmas parties without children and we never felt out of place, so I say go. We still haven't been to the WDW Halloween Party, but I hope to one day.

DH and I have been to three MNSSHP and we loved it. The detail in the parade to the trick or treating and the chance for some great photo ops. We love the fireworks as well.

Overall I would say it was more than worth the money to see all the extras they add and the atmosphere is good as well. If you are planning to go make sure you do little during the day we found that if we were out and about all day by the time it got to the party we were exhausted.

It is worth it, especially if you are a Halloween fan. Historically, you can enter MK at 4 pm with just the party ticket, so the party ticket will be for 8 hours of park time.

Even if I didn't have kids, MNSSHP would be worth it. The parade and fireworks are some of the best Disney does, imo.

My family of three adults all love MNSSHP. We never feel out of place or odd when we go. You'll see plenty of other adult only groups.

We love the parade and fireworks. We also go trick-or-treating at the end of the party when the lines are shorter.

DH and I only have furry kids; we both love MNSSHP. It is NOT just for kids if you like meet and greets with unusual Disney characters, great shows, wonderful fireworks and an outstanding parade. There is also a really fun spirit alive in the park during these parties. It's just a good time for everyone!

I'm already working on my costume - I'm going as a forest fae, if the heat will allow my costume. If it won't, I'm going as the Witch of Autumn. DH is going as Harry Desden (and he can actually pull it off. . .).

It is worth it if the weather is nice, if cold, raining or foggy, it is miserable and a huge waste of money.

I buy my tickets the day before.

Like all the others have said...do it. First time went with my son. I would go again without in a heartbeat. Great parade (headless horseman and the grave diggers are the best!); different fireworks. We went early in the season (I think first or second weekend) and the crowds were light. Walked onto every ride. We did not dress up and never felt out of place.

Have a good time!

My mom and I have been to a party every year since 2008 and we love them! The candy, the characters, fireworks all of it are always worth it to us. We're big Halloween lovers, but even a crowded party seems like a lot less people than a really nice May day in MK does, but that could be me, mileage may vary.

I've done it solo 4 times so far and loved every minute. I've been on the first MNSSHP of the year which was crowded in 2012 and also a couple in the middle.

It can be overwhelming if you don't have some sort of plan. I made a list of what I really wanted to see and do so I would be sure not to miss those things.
