Any chance of CRT without ADR's??

Heading to Disney in a few weeks and wondering if there is any chance of just showing up to CRT without ADR's and the chances of actually getting in?! I have been checking daily for possible cancellations and there's been NOTHING My daughter reallllly wants to eat here for breakfast or lunch. I am even willing to do dinner lol but hate to spend the money. Has anyone gone without ADR's and had luck?!?!

As far as I've ever heard, you cannot get in without a reservation, it books up completely. If you still want to try, I would suggest getting there as early as possible and asking. The biggest issue with getting there early, as far as I know, they open for breakfast before the park opens. And without a reservation, you can't get in to the park early. Good luck!!

You can always try while you are there. Each evening stop by Guest Services and see if there have been any cancellations. And the Days you Visit the Magic Kingdom go to Guest Services in the park and double check on possible openings.

I don't believe so.. I have heard CMs working at the checkin podium tell people that were in line hoping to get an ADR that they had to call the dining line.

Keep checking. Frequently. You never know if someone had to cancel.

Hang in there...it can be frustrating.

Good Luck!!!!

Every other trip, or so, sometime during my stay I'll stop by the check-in desk and ask "if I wanted to have breakfast this morning without a reservation, what would my chances be?" More often than not, I'm told we could be seated in just a few minutes.

Couple of points on this - I always ask this fairly late in the breakfast period - after 10 - and I'm always there during a fairly low crowd period - usually September or mid-to-late January.

I know this goes contrary to the conventional wisdom, but I think what's happening is that if parties tend to eat more quickly than the usual time, by the end of the meal the restaurant is actually a bit ahead of schedule, so that there's room to fit in an extra party. And by 10 or so, most guests who didn't have a reservation have already eaten breakfast somewhere else.

Seriously, it's worth a try, if you don't mind waiting for a late breakfast, and if you're prepared to eat elsewhere if it doesn't work out.

I don't ever mess with actually going to Guest Services while I'm in the parks, the 407-WDW-DINE # is programmed in my phone and I will call it random times throughout the day to try and catch cancellations...we usually luck out. Keep trying!

It is absolutely worth a try, even if you want to try a walkup, but you shouldn't count on it. And if you have kiddies who will be exceedingly disappointed by walking up to the castle and then not being allowed in, not sure what to do about that...maybe have the other parent take them in the store nearby while you check.

When are you going? CRT is closed for a week in mid-May. That could one of the reasons you are having trouble.
