Smile Tutto Italia or Via Napoli?

Heya-
My mom has decided that she has a desire for Italian in the WS, and I was able to get a lunch ressie for Tutto Italia and a dinner one for Via Napoli...

I haven't dined at either (the last time I ate in Italy in Epcot was when it was L'Originale Alfredo di Roma Ristorante ).

Which would you recommend to keep?

Thanks!

We loved VN for lunch last time we were there, the pizza was great. We have not tried Tutto, but another excellent Italian place in WDW that I recommend is Il Mulino at the Swan (which is a short boat ride from the WS @ Epcot).

Click on the links below for OUR reviews with photos on both of these:

If you're leaning toward the pizza thing, definitely Via

We went to Tutto Italia for dinner and it was amazing. We have never been to VN but I hear the pizza is especially good...so you have a hard decision on your hands!

Look at menus and see what is more appealing to your tastes. Both are decent; I personally prefer Via Napoli because they serve my preferred style of pizza. It is, however, a very loud restaurant and I prefer eating there for a quick lunch rather than a dinner.

While they are both Italian, they have fairly different menus and atmospheres. Tutto is closest to Alfredo in feel. It has good pastas and has a more formal feel. Via specialized in pizzas, but also has some pasta dishes. VN is more casual (and louder). I like both, but prefer VN. I really like the aranchini, prosciutto e melone pizza, and the "Ugly but Good" dessert sundae.

I vote VN. We have not eaten there but it looks amazing. We have eaten at Tutto. We did not enjoy our experience. It's very nice inside, but we had issues with the waiter not understanding our order, our food then came out wrong, and the food that was right definitely did not hit the spot. It was a mess. Of course, this could have all been just an isolated issue. Like I said though, the environment was very nice and elegant.

Ouor vote

goes for Via....Tutto is way over priced for the quality of food you are getting. Alfredo de Roma was always a favorite for us but it's in the wind now

I would read the menus for both. Via was great for a salad and pizza. Tutto was good for other Italian dishes.

It's going to depend on how your group feels about pizza.

Do you have persons in your group who love pizza and would choose it above traditional Italian entrees? Keep Via Napoli.

Does your group not care so much about pizza and is all about the traditional Italian entrees? Keep Tutto Italia.

If no one in your group wants pizza, you are good with Tutto Italia. Because you can get alternative entrees at Via Napoli...but you can't get pizza at Tutto Italia.

We've eaten at both and enjoyed them both. We had lunch at VN and really liked their pizza. We've had lunch and dinner at Tutto and thought we had excellent meals both times. The first time we ate at Tutto, I had the most incredible cream puffs with gelato and chocolate sauce for dessert -- I still dream about them! I was disappointed they didn't have them anymore the second time we were there, but the food was still excellent.
