One day in Orlando! What would you do?

We board our 3 day cruise tomorrow and then dock on Sunday. Our flight is at 7pm Sunday eve. So if we are off the ship by 9-10 am but do not need to be at the airport until 5pm, that gives us at least 6 hours to burn outside of transportation time. What would you do if you had the opportunity to go anywhere for 6 or 7 hours??

We have considered:

Kennedy Space Center
Cocoa Beach beach and Ron Jon's Surf shop
Sea World
Universal
Epcot
Downtown Disney

What would you do? Any other suggestions???

Earl's Sandwich

We love going there so we always kill a couple of hours having lunch and walking around DTD.

This was us last Saturday. We had early dining so we were off the Fantasy before 8 am. We rented a car (that part took longer than expected) and headed to epcot before our 5:48 flight out of MCO. We had time to ride three rides including the newly re-done Test Track which was awesome, walk half way around world showcase, and have a lunch in a world showcase restaurant. It was a great way to continue the Disney magic since we were all so grumpy about leaving the ship.

7 hrs is plenty of time to visit Sea World IMO. Or Animal Kingdom for that matter.

We had a 6:30 flight out two weeks ago. We took DCL transfers to MCO (using the DCL airline check in so we didn't have to worry about boarding passes or checking in with luggage)then rented a car(a breeze with Budget). We went to a Disney outlet store, then to NBA City at Citywalk for lunch and then to the Polynesian for a Dole Whip and a last little bit of Disney immersion. It was a good way to end our vacation.

We did Downtown Disney after an RCL cruise from PC that left us a few hours to kill. Also considered Canaveral National Seashore (beach) visit.

I would go to Cape Canaveral and Kennedy Space Center. I would not go to DTD on a Sunday but that's just me.

I am the same boat except we have a hotel near mco that night because it saved us a ton of money to fly on a Monday instead of a Sunday. Hotel was free with points too. Woo hoo!

Am I crazy to try the magic kingdom for a day? I will have a first timer 3 year old. Wasn't planning on buying tickets in advance because I have no idea what we will feel like doing after cruising. Any thoughts?

I live in Orlando and I would say after just getting off a cruise you are going to be tired so I would get Downtown Disney!! Walk around, lots of shopping and restaurants!
