Question Hoop Dee Doo using Dining Plan credits

Hi. Sorry if this has already been asked/answered but I can't find it. If someone books the Hoop Dee Doo Revue using the dining plan (2 credits), is it true that they will have to sit in category 2 or 3 seating? Thanks in advance!!!

Not necessarily. We did this in Nov. 2011 and I made the ressie by phone. They told us if we take the 8:30 seating, we can sit in category 1. So, we did with a 5 and 8 year old and it was great. We were about 3 table in from the stage, great show, great food.

Yes, you must book category 2 or 3 on the DDP - unless you book the latest show (which is currently at 8:30 pm). If you book the latest, you can book Category 1.

As to whether or not you actually sit there - there is an outside possibility that if you can't do the latest show and you book either 2 or 3 that you MIGHT be moved up to Category 1 seating if that area is not full. This happens when they issue you the tickets. You can't request it.

Thank you both SO much. I think it's better off to just pay out of pocket for it then!!!

We're in Category 1 for the 8:30 show using dining credits. We are 3 adults so this is what we wanted.

Can't wait!!!

We used dining plan credits to book category 2 seats for HDDR last October and we were very close to the stage. Category 2 seats aren't too bad and I think you have a much better view being back away from the stage a little bit. Those front tables are right up on the stage. Too close IMO.

We booked HDDR with our DDP credits last September and we were in Category 2, that was before they changed the times of the shows. Our table was great! We were on the floor but sat at a higher table than those in Category 1 so we had a great view of everything. So much fun! We are doing this again. I don't book my ADR's until May, so I have to still decide which time we are going to.

We loved our seats in category 2. We were in the balcony facing the stage. We had a better view than other years when we were downstairs.

We paid out of pocket and had category three seats. It was a great view and a great value. I would definitely do cat 3 again.

We pick cat 3 even if we use dinning plan. We love the balcony and prefer it to floor seats.

1) Good choice.
2) Dinner shows are a poor use for 2-TS (financially speaking).
3) The dollar-value is better spent elsewhere.
