I want to come back....

We have been so fortunate to have been to WDW already this year another trip booked and a trip to the original Disney in California is booked for next year.

I can't help my need to want to go back to DLP for a Christmas break. DH isn't up for it all. He isn't a DLP fan he loves WDW and is excited for DL but I just can't convince him.

Have any of you done a trip with just your little one. DD will be nearly 3. Hoping as it may just be the 2 of us we can go any time mid week etc.

I'm hoping to get a good price for the new rooms at SL.

Any tips from parents doing it alone will be great

I always do my trips to DLP as the only adult, with one or more children . Compared to doing DLP with other adults, its a far more relaxing way of doing things - because you just do what you and your child wants to, you don't need to concern yourself with when someone else feels hungry/tired/wants to go on a certain ride/show etc.

Its great - do it .

I went with just my DD last June, I had a great time and actually preferred it in someways as we just did what we wanted to do! I'm hoping to surprise her with another short break either later this year or early next!

I went with my dd who was 10 at the time we loved it! She is a dlrp nut like me and we love same type food and rides so had a really enjoyable trip! Another idea and what is happening this year is that hubby is staying in dlrp with us but going into Paris during the day while we in parks and then joining us at night for dreams and dinner! Enjoy whatever you do x

My son is 3 and we went alone in november there and we are going alone again this october. It's great as you can do as you please, and food bills are lower too as you both can maybe share an adults meal. One thing I would recommend is maybe stick to same bedtime as at home, as when your tired after a full day in the park you cant pass your little one to your partner for a five minute break. I think it's magical sharing a holiday, just you and your baby, you will have memories togther

Thanks for the replies every one.

I am super lucky to have so many trips booked that's why I feel selfish complaining that I want more lol.

But to me Disney at Christmas is jut magical and DLP because it wintery and cold.

We had such an amazing time last Christmas with the parade, Christmas characters and Santa. I don't know if our last trip is wanting me to go back because it was Christmas or because I was told it was my last for a few years. X

I don't think it's selfish at all to want to go!

We're going to WDW in July this year, will probably be going in July next year (DBFs family go every year and now me too lol), we're planning a trip to WDW for October next year just me and DBF, AND we're going to DLRP in October this year

As long as you can afford it, where's the harm?
