Tickets/luggage tags

We booked out cruise online with Disney, everything is paid for and we cruise in about 70 days I was wondering do they mail you your tickets and luggage tags? How does this work?

You'll get your little booklet containing tags etc about 2 weeks prior to your cruise date. It's lovely when they pop through your letterbox!! (We don't have mail boxes here in the UK, just a hole in our front doors to push the mail through!)

We're wondering how we'll get our tickets? We leave the UK on Friday to stay in our home in Clermont. We cruise on 18th April and don't have a mailbox in the US. We're hoping that they will arrive in the UK before we leave on Friday 13th (yes I know!)

Wink Booklet and Tags

Hi there,

I saw the name and had to reply, yes soon you will receive a booklet and tags, the tags are for your bags and they will have your stateroom number on them, simply put them on your bags before you hand them in to the porters prior to the cruise at the port. The booklet will give you basic details of your sailing and any reservations that you may have make such as "palo" or spa bookings.

Our email starts "mands" and our surname is "Kay" you can see why I was drawn to your post.

If you did the online check-in and printed off your boarding pass, you really don't need any other tickets. You can get luggage tags at the cruise ship terminal -- the porters always have blank ones. Just fill them out with your name and stateroom number.

My booklet came a couple of days ago from my travel agent;we sail on the 25th. There wasn't really anything in there that we hadn't done on line, so just do the online checking and you should be fine.

Yes, they will still mail the booklet and baggage tags even if you did online check-in. I think the other posters were saying if you don't get the mailing before you leave home, don't stress about it. You have your check-in paperwork from the online check-in and you can get new baggage tags at whatever point you check in your luggage (w/porters at the port, or with DCL transport at WDW or airport).

Yes, you will get a small spiral bound cruise booklet that contains your luggage tags. We generally receive ours about 6 weeks before the cruise.

I reserved through Costco. Has anyone used them before? If so, when should I expect my papers, etc...for the cruise.

We always book with Costco. They will email your cruise confirmation immediately. Disney will mail your spiral cruise book and luggage tags generally 4 - 6 weeks before the cruise. At least this has been our experience for 3 cruises now.

So does Costco send a bill for the rest of the cost? Any idea when they do this?

For us the Costco due date for the remaining balance was after the booking window opened. So if you want to get online and book your dining and excursions right away you'll probably need to call Costco yourself an make that final payment.
