The new Art of Animation resort and the All Star Music resort both have family suites. Below are links to some threads dedicated to these resorts filled with tons of information. Plus if you have any questions, you can ask them there. This area of the board is mainly for photos and videos of the resorts. The links below are more for questions and discussions.

It isn't necessarily the most popular resort in WDW, but my family loves Saratoga Springs. Its a happy medium between the "full-on" Disney immersion experience and a quiet, very upscale resort. They have varying combinations of rooms, including one and two-bedroom suites with kitchens, so something there might be what you're looking for. It isn't cheap, unfortunately, but when you get a group much larger than four (esp with >2 adults) its gets a little tougher to find a good landing spot at WDW.
