Your shoes are pretty amazing. I made a couple of pairs myself, but with sharpies. Unfortunately when I wore them on my Disneyland Paris trip it rained and they ran. Can't wait to hear all about Hoop de Doo!

I started reading your updates this morning, but I kept watching the clock and knew I had to get ready to go to work! Just read the rest of it now because I knew it deserved more of my attention than a rushed morning read through! Anyway, YAHOO for the new TR!

I absolutely adore those pictures of you and Alicia as cute kiddies! And how awesome it must have been to have everyone love your works of art!

HDDR! Yay! Always a good time. It would've been hard for me to be right at the MK and not go in!
I'm so in love with AoA, its just perfect. I personally think that the cars section is the bested themed.

Thank you! I love my toms, when I first got them I heard everyone say how comfy they are. At first they just seemed like regular shoes but out of all the shoes I painted for myself my toms are my favorite. I would be more than happy to paint you a pair! I actually have an instagram for the ones I've painted so far @glassslipperco

For reals, you should open up an Etsy shop and sell those shoes! Its super easy to do and very affordable! They are Toms right? I love them! They are sooooo cute!
Welcome along on our adventure!
They are toms! I looked into an etsy but I'm not sure but I guess I should look into it more.

Oh thank you! The girl who I made them for wanted a whole Epcot themed shoe and that was one of her top choices.

Thank you! Oh no that is so sad, I'm sorry. I water proof spray my shoes after I'm finished painting them.

WELCOME WELCOME WELCOME!
To be honest it was awkward, I probably made it more awkward because I'm just that type of person. I think ALicia and Brittany were more excited when someone said something about them. I am really happy though that people like them.

Hoop Dee Doo, Hoop Dee Doo

The dinner bell was rung and we were taken in. Alicia didnt know that this was Brittanys first time so she snapped a picture to show everyone her excitement.

In we go! We had really nice seats, which I was very pleased about. I wasnt quite sure where we would be seated since we got this meal on a discount.

Just tweeting/instagraming about how excited we are about this dinner!

our waitress came over and took our drink orders. Alicia and Andy got the sangria while me and Brittany are still babies and got some coke. Alicia was not feeling it at all! She said it tasted like feet water, so we now refer to it as feet water. Alicia let me and Brittany have a sip, it was not good. I told her I took to much a backwashed most of it back into the cup&. just kidding!

Andy was in heaven and enjoyed the feet water&gross! Alicia said it was better if you chugged it. (You can see a video of her chugging it in the trip video). Along with our drinks we got corn bread and salad.

Alicia was ready to chow down

Then she realized she was holding up to forks

I LOVE cornbread! It must be my native American side of me but really I could live on corn bread.

Soon the Pioneer Hall Players were coming through the back doors. Let the show beginning!

While we were waiting I was doing the famous hoop dee doo dance when Alicia told me they changed that song. I was seriously SO sad, I knew they changed some of the songs because of copyright issues but the main theme song of hoop dee doo was gone forever? Thats just real sad.

Anyways back to the show

A gent so rare a singin dandy, may I give you Jim Handy
Lots of hoots and laughs for you, won't you meet Miss Dolly Drew
Here's a gent that's full of hocum, ladies and gents Sixbits Slocum

Fancy steppin light as air, our song and dance team Johnnie and Claire

Claire was beyond precious, her laugh is contagious. This is Alicias dream job! Johnnie on the other hand reminded me and Alicia of a kid we went to high school with so the whole entire time all I could do is picture him as that part.

A lovely lady full of song won't you greet Miss Flora Long

She is my favorite, I just love her yellow plaid dress.

If any of you are Citizens of Hollywood fans over at Hollywood Studios you may recognize Sixbits. If not no worries, he is Bucky. When I saw him I was super happy, I am a huge fan of him and Paige Turner. If youre ever looking for a good laugh check out their congratulations song, Im obsessed and sing it all the time.

Anyways it was break time for the Pioneer Hall Players and dinnertime for their guests. BRING ON THE FOOD!!!!

Just looking at these food pics makes me want to go back right now. Everything was delicious. Also if you are a fan of Disneys mac n cheese and dont have children in your party just ask your waiter, they will bring you some!

We all enjoyed our food and stuffed down as much as our stomachs would allow.

Then the second half of the show started.
Dancing, singing, laughing&.what a grand ole time!

Can you feel the love tonight?

One of my favorite parts included Dolly & Sixbits. The sing off!

The whole audience is split in half and is forced to have a sing off. Well you arent forced but it you dont then you are just missing out on a fun time.

After all the singing and stomping its time for some dessert! Did someone say strawberry shortcake? This part is precious, seeing your waiter/waitress doing a kick line while carrying a tray of strawberry shortcake, its just too much to handle.

I enjoyed every bite of this. Delicious.

Oh my darling, oh my darling, oh my darling Clementine

Oh miss flora way to get all your snot on your beautiful dress

The Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue has come to an end

but there was one last thing to be done&. BRING OUT THE WASHBOARDS!

Finally the show ended and the Pioneer Hall Players sang their goodbyes. The saddest part, you never want to see it end. But alas it does and we were left with some good memories.

Overall our experience at Hoop Dee Doo was great!
It was definitely a great way to start off this yolo trip.

No problem! Ah, thats what I need to do with my next pair then. What do you use to waterproof them? I got them out to look at them and its not as bad as I remember; just some smudging and Tinkerbell looks like a vampire . Hoop de Doo looks amazing! Next time the family goes on a trip I'll definitely take them there.

It's been far too long since I've visited Hoop Dee Doo. Fun times for sure and the food is great. It looks like y'all had a blast.

You have such talent painting those shoes. What have you made so far?

I love the room tour, it's such an adorable room! If I ever stay in the family suites, I think I'd want to stay in the Lion King section, but the Nemo section is so cute too!

I love your Disney shoes!!!

I've never been to Hoop Dee Doo, can you believe that? I've been to Disney World SO many times, but never Hoop Dee Doo! I loved seeing your family photos from when you guys when there as kids, and that you're keeping that tradition alive on your YOLO trip!

I got some water proof spray from payless shoes, so any shoe store should sell it. That is so sad to hear about tinkerbell looking like a vampire!
Hoop Dee Doo is so good, it would be such a fun time!

Welcome to District 12

After Hoop Dee Doo we didnít have anything else planned for the night. Since we were at fort wilderness we could go do the campfire, which we all love. But something else was calling our names.

Alicia took a quick pit stop. Then it was time to go on a lizard hunt!

Just kidding
We were going on a hunt, but for what? Two wordsÖ.River Country.

For those who donít know River Country was the first water park at Walt Disney world. It sadly closed in November 2001, some say because of deadly bacteria, others say because of the other 2 water parks it just wasnít as popular. What ever the case may be River Country still stands but is slowy rotting away.

We made it our mission to find it. Come along if you dare.

After searching on our phones for old maps of the resort, we made a game plan. We started walking our path, no looking back.

Being the good children that we are, we were so nervous and scared of getting caught. Whatís the worst they could do tell us to get out? We saw two teenage boys riding their bikes down the path so if they didn't get in trouble than we shouldn't.

Thatís when we saw it, the saddest thing you could see on Disney property

I just want to slid down one of the slides, like look at how cool those are! The thing we questioned is why did they close down the pool? I feel like the resort guests could enjoy the pool with the pretty sweet slides. That wasnít connected to the lake so there wasnít the bacteria problem.

Anyways next thing we saw was the picnic area or what we like to call district 12. Seriously this would be such a good place to play hunger games in. Where is Peeta?!

Just take a moment to soak up all the sadness that is River Country.
Our hunt came to an end when we were escorted out by Disney securityÖ.

Just Kidding! If that happened I would have cried. But like good children we didnít actually go into River Country (Maybe one day we will have the guts to go exploring around the whole park)

Our River country hunt came to and end

Before we left Fort wilderness all together, there was one last photo we needed to take.

We got in line at the dock where a boat was waiting. As we entered there was a real fun CM he told us to raise the roof as we got on. Too funny! Once again we thought it would be a good idea to squeeze onto a bench all together.

YOLO family love

We were soon arriving at the Magic Kingdom. As we were exiting the boat we decided to raise the roof again, which the CM greatly appreciated.

We headed to the bus stop because a park was just not in our plans for today.
A Disney trip would not be a disney trip without Brittany planking something.

This is when Alicia came up with a new plank

At first she called it the barenecessities, but then realized she wasnít a fan of it so over the course of the trip we ended up calling it mowgabalooing. Although nobody sat on her like mowgli did to baloo but its ok.

While we waited some more, it turned into hair braiding time. (this will be happening a lot during this trip. Long hair + waiting in lines = braiding hair)

The bus ride back to AoA was a different one. Brittany and me encountered 2 little 3 year old girls wrestling and both of the dads where cheering them on. But itís all fun and games till someone gets hurt and thatís exactly what happened. One of the girls started crying and was not very happy.

The fun was over, Andy was passed out. NO SLEEPING IN DISNEY!!!!

Boys and girls this is what true love looks like

When we arrived at AoA we browsed the gift shop then went back to the room.
