However, we expected crowds and figured lines for rides would be long. We took our time and had an absolute blast. Had breakfast at Cafe Orleans at 3:00 a.m. and watched the sunrise which we've never done at any Disney Park. If you go in with reasonable expectations you can still have a good time.

ETA: Oh, one more thing. The atmosphere for the event was more "adult" than usual so I wouldn't recommend taking little ones past a certain hour. Besides, they'd be too tired to enjoy themselves. I saw a lot of parents with little ones even during wee hours, not cool.
The one difference with this may be that this is for AP holders only. Leap day was for anyone. Right?

My above statement is wrong. May 24th is for everyone.

Where are you seeing that it's just for passholders? I missed that part.

Apparently I misunderstood the AP's blog. I thought it was part of the Limited Time Magic, but now it's all over twitter that 3 parks (MK, DLP, & DCA) will be open 24 hours. ...so I guess it will impact the Grad nite too.

Cool "Nightmare on Main Street"?!?

Well, we'll be there, but from the sounds of it, it may be a good thing to avoid.

We're spending the entire week there at the DLH, through Memorial Day, and celebrating our anniversary Friday night, the 24th. It sounds like a good opportunity to take advantage of Extra Magic Hour at Disneyland on Saturday morning.

I do not see anything about it being an AP only event. So they are going to close BOTH PARKS to anyone who is not an AP holder?

Crud! I'm on a roll tonight!
I thought it was.

That does explain why I couldn't find it on the Disneyland AP site.

I'm going to bed before I say anything else stupid.

If it's not just for APs why is it called "Limited Time Annual Passholder Magic"?

Some things may be limited to AP's but Limited Time Magic is not only for AP's.

Long Lost Friends week was open to everyone.

The special movie screenings in the Opera House are only open to Annual Pass holders.

Would the ART be running all night for this?

I'm just wondering if we got really tired in the early hours of the morning and wanted to get back to our hotel I don't know that we would want to walk late at night.

Someone should have gone to bed ten minutes earlier.

In some cases, there is a separate Annual Pass component to Limited Time Magic, like the movie screenings and earlier entry for Long Lost Friends Week. These bonuses in no way make Limited Time Magic exclusive to AP holders.
