Casa Bonita looks really fun and something the kids would enjoy. And, the zoo and museum too. So much to do but so little time!!
Definitely not fun!! We moved here from MO and endured a month of headaches...they give the soldiers who come in to Ft. Carson 45 days to adjust to the altitude before they give them PT tests.

Tomorrow is our schools 4-6th grade field trip. They are going to the Aquarium, Molly Browns(gold miner and survivor of the Titanic) house, and Jump street. leave at 6:35am and be home around 10pm. The joys of living in the middle of nowhere.

Casa Bonita is fun-the food however is atrocious-except for the sopapilla's. Its also quiet a ways west of downtown.
Definately the zoo, museum of nature and science ( the planitarium is awesome). The Forney Museum of Transportation is cool. Elitches is cool but expensive. I like the aquarium but i have only been there for corporate sponsered events so i dont know about the cost. The Mint is awesome as are the Denver Botanic Gardens. Heritage square is kind of meh. If your kidlets are into sports you might want to see if the Rockies have a home game.
