3D! It was beautiful, and the 3D effects were the best of all the Disney movies so far. Not theme park quality, but still great. We just saw it Monday night, and it was fantastic.

I usually don't waste my money on 3D anymore because I don't think it's that important, but when we left "Oz", we all agreed that this was one that would have actually been really great in 3D.

The visuals are better than the story/acting, so I'd say to see it in 3D.

We had not planned to see it in 3D, but the timing of the 3D showing worked into our schedule better. We all agreed that it wouldn't have been as good in 2D. Though, I will still buy it in 2D when it is released and watch it repeatedly.

Save it for a rental. James Franco cannot act his way out of a paper bag! He makes Jake Lloyd from The Phantom Menace look like an Oscar winner!

Awful awful film.

My DD is 10, and she has seen The Wizard Of Oz, read the book, and seen Return To Oz all multiple times and she absolutely loved this movie. I'm not a big fan of Franco, but there was something about his cheesy performance that worked for me in this movie. Zach Braff stole the show, though.

I saw it the day it came out. Franco was fine in it. He is a talented actor...did you see him in 127 Hours??? whew!!!

The movie was good. Very nice visually and the acting, although not the best I have seen, was certainly not the worst. If you are looking for entertainment (and isn't that what a movie like this really is) and not for some academy award winning film...then go and see it.

I thought Franco was decent. Mila Kunis was the one who couldn't quite pull of her role. She seemed an odd choice.

While it's not the best movie ever, we really enjoyed it. I can see where the 3D effects would have been great, but we saw it in 2D. My DS13 doesn't care for 3D, and since I wear glasses, I hate to have to put the 3D glasses over my own. I'll do it at WDW, but for movies, not so much.

Enjoyable but not a classic. If you're going to a theater anyhow, make it 3D.
