Need help w MK dining

Traveling w DH and dd5 ..we r doing MK two days..the first one we have CP for late lunch. I desperately wanted BOG for dinner but that doesnt seem likely...there's no other TS that seems worth it ( we r on ddp) . We could do BOG for lunch...but i certainly can't wait on that long line in the sun..if dh is willing to wait...how bad is that line..and is there a place I could sit?

Also if we do two cs that day what would I do with my other TS? Has anyone ever had two TS in one day? How did you manage time wise and where??

I can't speak for BOG as I haven't been there. As for 2 TS in one day...we have and let me suggest maybe a character breakfast and then a TS dinner?? That always worked well for us!! This way your meals are spaced out and you could grab a light snack in the afternoon if you need something to hold you over...depending on your ressie times.

We did this as well and it worked for our family. We would do a big breakfast in the morning, do a snack or a light lunch in the afternoon, and do a TS for dinner. You could also do an early lunch or a later dinner if you'd rather do a quick breakfast in the morning.

I haven't been to BOG either, but I've seen others post their wait times on here and most look to be around 20-30 minutes.

Us too! Character breakfast early then eating a bit later then usual (say 6). I wouldn't want to do it everyday, but once per trip works out well.

Remember you are just a short mono-rail ride to any Mono-rail resort where there are a huge selections of choices, or a boat ride to the WL. It does not take very long and is a nice break. We like Ohana at the Polly the best for a family. There are some very nice 2 credit choices as well if you wanted to go that route and have two CS one day. A few character meals choices at these resorts if you are interested in another of those.

I also recommend taking the short monorail ride to a resort restaurant. It's a nice way to get out of the heat and crowds for a couple hours. I have had wonderful experiences at Kona and Ohana (both at the Polynesian). There are also character meals at the Contemporary (Chef Mickeys) and the Grand Floridian (1900 Park Fare).

we enjoyed Libery Tree Tavern & Plaza restaurant at MK. I went overboard with ADRs last trip LOL or ride monorail to KOna cafe. Ive only had bfast there but they get great reviews for lunch/dinner Good luck!

I second Kona or WL for dinner away from the parks.

Also, be careful having one person stand in line for BOG. They require the whole party to be together after a certain point in the line.
