Smile VIP Tour - Interested in splitting cost on April 10th or 12th?

We have a family of 4 and would like to split the cost of a VIP Tour of both Disneyland Parks for one day next week. Our kids are 9 and 11 and like to ride everything. It is the same price for up to 10 people. If you have kids a similar age or have a group who likes to ride everything - maybe we could share the cost???

How much is it? We will be there April 12. We have 3 adults, 2 6year olds and an infant in our party.

a Little Pricey

$355 per hr with a 6 hr minimum, but you get to enter all the rides as if you had a fast pass and the ones without the fastpass they let you enter through the exit . . .

Actually, this isn't true. You will enter all the FP rides through the FP line. In addition, there are a few rides that you can access as you describe.

Disneyland attractions:

It’s a Small World
Storybook Land Canal Boats
Dumbo the Flying Elephant
Pirates of the Caribbean
Haunted Mansion
Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage
Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters
Matterhorn Bobsleds
Alice in Wonderland

Disney California Adventure attractions:

Monsters Inc. Mike & Sully to the Rescue
Muppet *Vision 3D
Toy Story Midway Mania!
Jumpin’ Jellyfish
Ariel’s Undersea Adventure

I would hate for there to be misunderstandings on what is available.

wow that's over $2000, $1000/family if you split it two ways. Definitely out of our price range.

??? The DIS says it's $175/hr, or $195 in peak season. Is the DIS tour page out of date?

Yes. That price is several years old. Last I checked about a year ago it was around $249.

There are also 2 levels of VIP tours. The cheaper one doesn't include FP access. If you look at the link you have it says the VIP with FP is $100 more per hour.

But yes, the prices did recently go up. It was $295 for the VIP with FP.

I believe this is the price for the standard tour - where you do not get access to rides using Fastpass entrance. It is considerably cheaper but clearly if you are in it for the rides it is much less appealing as well. This is based on prices I saw for 2012.

Exact communication from Disneyland:

VIP Tour (6hr minimum)
$315/hr Regular Season
$355/hr Peak Season
*Rates are subject to change.

With a Disneyland Resort® VIP Tour, Guests will enjoy day use, valet parking at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa®. A VIP Tour provides assistance with dining reservations, special viewing areas for select shows and parades and Guests will get to experience attractions again and again with flexible and preferred access onto several attractions. The Disneyland Resort® VIP Tour does not include front of the line access to attractions. However, with the VIP Tour Guide, while Guests do still wait in lines, they would be waiting in much shorter lines for the attractions that offer Fastpass access as well as some additional popular attractions that do not offer Fastpass!

The following selected attractions offer Fastpass access:

In Disneyland Park®:
• Splash Mountain
• Space Mountain
• Indiana Jones Adventure
• Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
• Star Tours
• Autopia
• Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin

In Disney California Adventure Park®:
• Soarin’ Over California
• California Screamin’
• The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
• Grizzly River Run
• Radiator Springs Racers
• Goofy’s Sky School

The following selected Non-Fast pass attractions would also be offered for preferred access:

In Disneyland Park®:
• "it’s a small world"
• Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters
• Dumbo the Flying Elephant
• Pirates of the Caribbean
• Haunted Mansion
• Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage
• Storybook Land Canal Boats
• Matterhorn Bobsleds
• Alice in Wonderland

In Disney California Adventure Park®:
• Monsters Inc. Mike & Sully to the Rescue
• Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree
• Muppet *Vision 3D
• Toy Story Midway Mania!
• Jumpin’ Jellyfish
• The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel's Undersea Adventure

Our VIP Tour can accommodate up to 10 Guests with one VIP Tour Guide and Theme Park Tickets are a separate purchase from the VIP Tour price. I would be happy to assist with the purchase of Theme Park Tickets if you would prefer. I would also be happy to assist with dining reservations and VIP Viewing arrangements in advance for your visit to the Disneyland Resort. Please visit our website in order to view the calendar of the shows and parades that are available on the dates of your visit as well as the different dining locations here at the Disneyland Resort.

Oh good! They added Mater's! Our last tour was NYE and it wasn't included at that time.

The guides are SO great! They can truly make it a magical experience.

If there is anything you need, your guide has what we call the "Magical Blackberry". Hey, I have even been able to get a table for 14 on a Sat night at Tortilla Joe's with only 3 hours notice (and the place was packed...)

And remember, they can take you on the Lilly Belle, and it is possible to get Club 33 seating if it is available.
