first night dinner

We usually do Chef Mickeys as our first night dinner but this time we have a late flight landing at 7pm so I dont want to make an ADR at a place that will charge us if we dont make it. I also dont want to use a park ticket day to get in a place. We are staying at the Beach Club. What would you suggest??

How late are you getting to the Beach Club? Driving or DME? I'd just go to Beaches & Cream if you can get in.

We enjoy Kouzzina at the Boardwalk, just next door! We usually get 8:30pm ADRS!

For my family, we would be tired from the day of travel and not want to drive or ride in any vehicle or chance waiting for an hour without an ADR....but would still be charged and excited to explore and begin our adventure.

So, I would suggest a late ADR at any of the many restaurants around the Boardwalk area...Yachtsman, Captain's Grille, Cape May, Flying Fish, ESPN club...check out menus and see what feels right.

Beaches and cream has been our first night tradition for a couple trips now. It is convenient and I don't need to worry about ADRs.

Since you'll be getting in late I wonder if you will be interested in a big meal. If so, don't forget the really nice restaurants at the Swolphin, like Il Mullino and Blue Zoo.

Personally I agree with the OP that they should not have an ADR at anyplace that will charge a no-show fee if they don't make it. That would let out Yachtsman, Cape May and Flying Fish. ESPN club isn't a bad idea..there is also Big River Grill and the Swan/Dolphin restaurants. The Swan/Dolphin are not on the dining plan, but that means you can usually just walk into their places.

We had a flight land about the same time on our last trip and by the time we got on ME and to our hotel it was close to 9pm and we were exhausted. All we could manage was something at the food court and we were ready for bed. I definetly wouldn't book a TS for that night. I have never stayed at BC though so I don't really know what's available.

I would go to Beaches and Cream. No ADR needed (they don't accept them) and the food is very good .

Beaches & Cream is an extremely small restaurant and they tend to get slammed around 9:30 when Epcot closes and the show is over. That may be around the time the OP gets to the resort. If they can get to B&C before 9:15 I'd say it's a good choice.
