Recent Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage experiences

Can anyone confirm that these are still only offered Fri-Mon? I found a review or two online but they were a bit dated. Trying to decide btwn this as a family or sending DS5 on the kids, only pirate thing from YC one morning.

We went on a Friday night in early Feb this year. It's definitely running during the week. To be honest though, we thought it was pretty over-priced for what it is. Not that it wasn't fun - it just wasn't ... wow. The best part was seeing the fireworks from the water (great perspective that helps you appreciate the choreography of the fireworks to the music). The line for Peter Pan at the end is long unless you're in the front of the boat and/or really hustle off the pier. The snack options are popcorn (SmartFood), pretzels, sheet cake, oranges, chocolate gold coins, ice cream sandwiches, and popsicles. Nothing wrong with that but I wouldn't say it added a lot of "value" to the package. Most of the time is spent in the snack area munching and waiting. The cruise itself is pretty short and includes "getting to know the guests" type questions and a sing along but not much else. Not trying to discourage you if it's something you really want to do, but just don't expect it to be spectacular. And it is expensive.

We had a great time on it. After being packed in like sardines to see the fireworks earlier in the week, this was like having the park all to myself to see the fireworks. The two pirate guides (Patch and Patch) are hilarious and we just loved the whole experience.

Thanks, I was hoping for something to do on our arrival night, which is a Thursday. Something to consider though.

We too are Sat May 11. We are actually in Epcot that day and will take the monorail over.
The 2nd day we are in MK I don't want to miss the electric parade since the parade is not happening on our first day there.

Kenny the pirates review sold us.

When I called they said they do have some Tuesdays and Thursdays during Easter and other busy times.
