If your family is into cycling then consider renting bikes in either Niagara Falls or Toronto. Cycling in both places offers a unique way to see the sites.

Research restaurants. The Niagara region offers some amazing farm to table dining experiences. Toronto on the other hand offers just about any kind of food you might want to experience.

Don't forget to pack your passports in order to get back into the states.

We stayed at the Americana hotel not far from the strip. Free parking, bus stops right outside for $5 you can ride all day which beat paying $25 to park by the falls and then having to walk all over the place. Just hop back on the bus and go to the next attraction. It has an indoor water park.

Por favor mantenganse alejado de las puertas-Please stand clear of the doors.

Thanks for the Great Plug for Stratford. There are three different theaters to choose from here. It is a beautiful city with some amazing restaurants and a wonderful park system. If you want to see a play, I would suggest "Tommy". Even Roger Daltrey and Pete Townsend have said that they will be coming to see it.

I also would say Stratford as a day trip. I'm from Stratford but live in Hamilton now & miss the beauty of it. You have the theaters, the river and lots of shops to look at along Ontario St. And as previously mentioned you have the Biebs.

Casa Loma is a really nice half a day outing.

If your husband is a hockey fan he may enjoy the Hockey Hall of Fame.

And if the girls like rides check out Canada's Wonderland.

I second the vote for Cave of the Winds and walking across the Rainbow Bridge. For kids, it's kind of cool to take a pic of half the body in US and half in Canada - there's a sign on the bridge that shows the US/CA border. You can usually see some nice rainbows from the bridge. If staying on the CA side, bring some change to cross back in - there's a small fee to walk across the bridge. You pay on the CA side.

If going up to Niagara on the Lake (Wine country - quaint town, cute shops, etc.), I would recommend the Jet Boat tour (especially if it is a hot day). You will get wet. It's a lot of fun.

For border crossing info, you can always check online to figure out the best location to cross. It is a holiday weekend and there will likely be delays.

One other thing to do in Toronto is see the Wizard of Oz. I saw it and it was so good. Now they're advertising tickets for $35 and rush tickets because its been out a fe months and its leaving soon. http://www.mirvish.com/shows/thewizardofoz

I didn't catch when you're coming. Wizard of Oz is being replaced by Aladdin in November...I can't wait. It will be in T.O. Only 2 months and then it's going to Broadway.
