Trip structure

Trip from Thursday oct 3 through Friday oct 11 2013. We are planning on 5 days at WDW parks (w hoppers), 2 days US (w hoppers), and 1 at SW. Any suggestions on how to structure out trip? Do our days at US first or WDW? Split up days and intermix parks? Also flight gets in around 2pm on Thursday, worth trying to go to a park that day? If so what one? Staying in the LBV area

Is this your first trip?

Do you have kids?

Will you be buying any holiday party for either parks?

It's been over 10 years since I last went, my Wife's first time. No kids and between MNSSHP and HHN I think we may be leaning HHN if we end up doing a holiday party, seems more adult oriented.

Im adult-- I LOVED MNSSHP
Got dressed up too. We saw tons of adults with no kids dressed too.

I dont think I would like US halloween party as they are more into the scare thrill factor--- it is NOT for kids-- for sure.

But looking at you doing parks for all those days streight in a row--from morning til night-- plus travel time to get around. whew. I got exhausted just reading it-- LOL

Always like seeing/doing as much as we can when we are on vacation. We can rest at home . Just got to figure how to structure which day to go where. Would doing our Seaworld day the day we fly in be too much? Like 3 or 4pm to close...

what time does sea world close?

are you staying at one resort or doing split stays.?

We did sea world on a cruise excursion. we arrived at 9am and left by 3:30 and got all the main shows done. The only one we did not get to do is the Pet Show. but GD got to ride some rides too?>

Would you consider staying at a resort close to Universal to save time?

I am guessing you have a car.

I need down time when on vacation--lol

I structure using crowd calendars...easywdw.com is popular and free...it will give you best park recommendations for WDW parks.

Can't answer Sea World question, but US should be fine any day that week...especially if you are buying the front of line passes. Some say do US sun/mon to avoid bigger crowds...as most start week at disney.

Have a wonderful trip!

Not sure SW hours that day so I will have to take that into consideration.

Yes I will have a rental so getting around wont rely on shuttles etc...

So is doing some Disney with US in the middle and then more Disney a good plan or doing one then the other a better course? DHS has the TOT 10k that first weekend we arrive so I wonder of we should do US:IoA and SW first and the. Dinah up with 5 days of WDW.

we have 5 days... no hoppers. we are doing 2 in magic kingdom = one will be a christmas part. 2 epcot. 1 studios. 1 animal kigdom.

for the most part we will be going at rope'drop,
the day after our party since it is a late night we will go to world showcase since it does'not'open til 11am.

do you have any sleep in days?

i'would'do univeral get it done, then the world.

I like doing Universal after Disney. First, it is less walking and my feet appreciate that at the end of the week. Second, the rides are wilder and I like to build up to them. Finally, while I think Universal is as fun as Disney, I'm not as attached to it. Leaving Disney is less sad if I have something else to look forward to.

If you have 5 days no hoppers and going to the Christmas part why use a day going to MK when you will in a sense have to pay to go into MK twice? Use the second MK day to spend at Epcot and you will still get to go to MK twice

Not exactly sure how we are going to spend our 5 days. Tentative plan is a full day at MK AK and EC, been told that HS isn't as time consuming as the others so maybe a little over a half day there and hopping with the rest of our days. Not sure when our next Florida trip will be so trying to be as active as possible.

on our first trip in 2010 i read that studios and animal kingdom were half day parks'too.

i dont know if its'because we had one child with us but we manage to close both parks.
after arriving at rope'drop.
fatasmic was awsome.

we broke epcot into world showcase one day again stayed til illiminations, and another day for future world, we spent considerable of time in innoventions east and west

Always hard to judge how each park is going to go to each person. Going to try and conquer my fear of coasters and truly immerse myself in all that each park has to offer. Thanks for all the input.
