Found a Nikon Cool pix on clearance at Walmart for $50-60. So if it sucks I didn't break the bank

Thanks! It got really good reviews on Amazon and is only $25. I think I'll get it and use it with my older digital camera (not my new $$$$ one).

I used the same thing last July during our Dream double dip. We used it during a snorkling excursion and worked like a charm. Just pay attention to the directions and you'll have great pics.

Love my Olympus Tough (but it was a bit pricey). It took great photos in Cozumel last fall and I can't wait to use it again in the Caribbean in a few weeks. I used the disposables for years and the results just can't even begin to compare. I considered the waterproof bags, but after reading a few reporrts of leaks I was petrified of ruining my digital camera. If that's the route you choose, be sure to read and follow the directions carefully.

I've got a Fugi that we've used for a few years now. For pool and beach pictures, it's fine.

Here's a few taken with our Fuji waterproof disposable. The general look is a little grey (not really bright colors) but acceptable for what we wanted.

No problem! The instructions that come with it explain how to put a dry paper towel inside and submerge it to be sure your bag is not defective and that you're getting a good seal. That way, you don't have to risk your camera as you're learning how to seal it up. It's very easy to use, though.

I got a kodak easyshare sport. Cost about $50 on sale at Christmas. I wanted something small, but something that I wouldn't be upset if I lost or damaged it. It was a great investment. I used on water rides and waterslides, etc. I can't wait to try it at CC in June. I have had so many disposable waterproof camera break or not work. I was so upset while at CC last time mine broke right when I was over the statues out in the snorkel lagoon Considering the disposals are about $10, it was worth the extra money. Plus it is digital so you know if you got the shot you wanted, plus it has a lot more than 24 pictures available.

Below are photos I took with it. Sorry they are scrapbook pages, that is what is uploaded. The underwater and out of water pictures are much better quality than a disposal for sure. Not as good as my DSLR, but you won't be disappointed.
