We did it in 2009 for our Honeymoon. It was fun for us we caught quite a lot of fish the captain of our boat caught a Barracuda. The only problem i had was forgetting to put sunblock on my head in between my braids (got my hair braided on the ship) that hurt.
When you are reeling in the fish it is sort of a game of who can get the fish first you or the reef sharks that follow the boat most of us generally beat the sharks and got our fish a couple of people got half a fish. My husband really wants to do it again.

That sounds awesome! So you can see the Sharks? Been slightly obsessed with Shark week...would love to see some. I saw one at Castaway a few years ago when I did the Jet Ski excursion...very cool.

You sort of can they don't come to the surface but once you get a fish on you can see them a little trying to get to it. Our captain said that they follow the boat out because they know it is an easy meal.
