How many "church choirs" have you witnessed? She's not churchy at all, she's a soul singer with a great bottom tone and awesome stage presence.

Regardless, she'll do well. She's in a movie about background singers coming out this summer, 20 Feet from Stardom http://twentyfeetfromstardom.com/.
Completely agree with you. Sasha is the one without 'It.'

Agree as well. Judith had IT in spades. Glad to see she'll be in that movie and I wish her the best for her career.

The only one left I'm interested in is Amber, but I suspect her chances got torpedoed with all the Levine backlash.

Anyone watch last night?

I loved the Swon Brothers second performance, I thought it was soooo good.

I liked Danielle's second song and I don't usually care for her because she never seems connected to her songs, but that second song was great.

Sasha didn't have a strong night, I like her too. I thought her song choices were weak, doing Whitney never works out well for people, she is a great performer though. I felt bad for her because her going home video had so much less fanfare then the others, just the cost of being from The City I guess.

Michelle did a good job, but i didn't love her songs. I really like her though.

Ambers take on Adams song was great.

For the first time the Swon's got all my votes because I loved their second performance.

Does anyone know how many people go tonight? 1 or 2?

Two go home tonight. If I had to guess, I'd say Sasha and Amber.

I love the Swon brothers! I think they were the only ones that were consistently good last night. They have grown SO much over the course of the show. Worlds of improvement between now and the knockout round. And it really speaks to Blake's talent as a coach that he arranges the performances so that their voices works well together.

I love Sasha, but she wasn't too good last night. Plus, what the heck kind of dedication to your children is I Will Always Love You? Seriously, do people not listen to the words? It is a LEAVING song! Totally drives me crazy. (Not to mention it was a Dolly song long before it was a Whitney Song. Give credit where credit is due!)

Danielle was really great in the beginning of the competition, but she needs more work on her stage presence. Her voice is amazing, but there is no emotion behind it, which is something you really need, especially in country music! She reminds me of Taylor Swift, cute and talented, but totally vapid.

Amber is GREAT when she is good and mediocre when she isn't. Last night wasn't my favorite.

Michelle, I just don't get the hype. Her voice is different, but if i don't know the song she is singing, it is completely unintelligible at times. It really stood out when she did the Taylor swift song. I couldn't understand a word of it. But I get the "vote for the nerd" thing she has going for her.

But on a happy note, who else is excited for the performances tonight? Terry and Nicolas from last season, plus Tony Lucca from season 2!!! I loved Tony Lucca- still do!

Completely agree with your assessment, except for Michelle.

I like Michelle because she's an underdog; I always root for the underdog.

Also agree that Sasha does not have "IT". Judith Hill would have been a better choice. Then again, this is the same country that keeps the Kardashians on the air.

The Swon Brothers are fun to watch and will probably get a recording contract whether or not they win. As far as the other two country artists, Danielle has an excellent voice but she is still young. She'll grow. Not too sure about Amber. I think she's cute and has a strong voice, but she's not Carrie Underwood.

Maybe the Swon Brothers or Michelle will win? Just not feeling it with Sasha.

The Swon Brothers are great. I liked both of Danielle's songs too,but she isn't my favorite. I love Michelle, but didn't think this week was her best.

I agree, also.

I sort of lost interest in the show when it turned into the Grand Ole Opry, really a turn off.

Danielle seems to have it sewed up via Itunes, her whole town is buying her songs!

I sort of like the Swons and Michelle, not a big fan of anyone else. Not enough to pay for their music at least.

I told my kids that it was a Dolly song first while we were watching it! Lol. Yeh I totally agree on the dedication thing, is she leaving her kids ? Lol

I'm guessing Sasha & a shocker twist with Michelle leaving.

Just not into it this pass. Do not like any of them, I don't know why.

Chamuel needs to get her fanny off the show. She can't sing and has no stage presence in my opinion. I like the Swon Brothers now. I don't really care about the show anymore ever since Judith got the boot.

Two weeks in a row now they have made me wait until the final moments of the show to learn that my favorite, The Swon Brothers, have been saved!!

I am not a country fan to say the least, but I really like listening to Danielle sing.

I like the Swon brothers too.

Michelle I'm not so sure of. It seems to me like this year the music has been really loud and it seems like when Michelle sings we don't really hear THE VOICE. I want to like her, she seems like the kind of person I'd like, I just don't see what everyone gushes about.

Sasha finally used up the novelty of that 'cracking' sound she has in her voice. I think song choices probably hurt her more than anything though.

That country singer of Adam's, she just seemed like a vapor, nothing really there.
