Shutters Pictures--Image Group Out, Who is in?

If The Image Group is no longer in charge of pictures taken by Shutters, who is handling the pictures? I read somewhere recently that The Image Group no longer handles the pictures and when you go to their website (where I in the past went to get a Copyright Release), DCL is no longer listed as a cruiseline that they handle pictures for. Where do we go to get a Copyright Release?

I posted the info on Image Group. The website does not list Disney and the link for a copy of the release I had from a cruise in september does not exist any more. I nevery received any replys. If someone has been on a cruise, hope they might reply. I was going to give them a call to see if they still handle it.

Your post must be the one I previously saw. I also previously had a link saved for the release and it no longer works. When you go to their home page, DCL is no longer listed at the bottom with all the other cruise lines. I hope someone sailing soon may be able to advise as to who is now handling copyright releases.

I emailed Disney. If they say anything of interest ill post. I cruise at the end of May and will ask if someone doesn't before then.

We're just back from the Fantasy and I'm a bit disappointed in the photos. I purchased the cd and was able to add on all of the printed pics for $50. Sounded fine to me. It's one of those vacation expenses I just try ignore. The lighting in some pics has us looking washed out and in some there are shadows. I understand these aren't "professional" pics but...... Then there's the cd. All of the pics are there but they're the pics with the borders, not the plain pics like in the past which would have been preference. To upload the pics to my iPhoto account I had to install a driver off the pic CD then the download took a 1/2 hour. I will think twice about the whole picture thing on our next cruise and take more of my own.

If you go the CD the photo release is on there... did you only buy prints?

The release referenced in the link is totally different than the one used on our Sept Fantasy cruise. The previous one asked for the ship, passenger name, and dates of cruise. I wonder why the difference???

Disney sent me to the Image Group last week with questions about photos I am trying to locate.

I got the automated responses from them but haven't had any additional follow up yet (from Image Group that is), but it has been less than a week since I made my request.

I finally got around installing the CD from our Wonder cruise in mid Feb, and had issues with the CD.

I called them up via the phone number listed under www.mycruisephotos.com (selected Can't see my cruise, I returned from a cruise and need technical support). They were very helpful resolved my issue right away.

Right on that support page, there's a link to download the release form. Note that this is also included in the CD.

The one I previously used was like to one you are referring to: it asked for the ship, name, and dates of cruise. This one is very different. But as long as it works. The website is somewhat diffferent too.
