Just booked 3-day cruise...

I'm so excited! Yesterday I booked 3 days on the Dream departing April 18th with a VGT rate. We've only done 1 cruise before - 8 nights on the Magic from NYC last August - and we loved it. I am fully prepared for the fact that this cruise will feel way too short, but it will be a fun getaway and is during my DDs' spring break.

Anyway, I'm not sure what to pack for this short of a cruise. Is there still a formal and/or semi-formal night? Is there a pirate night? Also, do they do fireworks for 3-night cruises or only the longer ones? Are the shows on the Dream the same as the ones on the Magic? TIA for your input!

DH and I have a 3 night booked for the end of May. There is a pirate night and there are fireworkds. I think there is only an optional dress up night on the 3 night cruises. No formal/semiformal. The shows on the Dream are Golden Mickeys, Villans Tonight & Believe.

We've only done the short cruises thus far so maybe I can help.

There aren't any special menus for a 3-night at least not on the classic ships! There is pirate night and people dress in costumes but mdr is regular menu. Still have deck show, fireworks and buffet.

On the most part, you can tell it was a dress up night. A lot of dressed up families for portraits. No tuxes or gowns though.

Only Palo dinner on 3-night.

Same time/thing at CC.

Anything else, holler!
