Recommendations for transportation from MCO to Swan?
Hello. I pulled the trigger and booked the Swan for our quickie trip next month. I understand that it is not serviced by ME. So I'm hoping someone could give me an alternative recommendation for airport transport? We are traveling with two small children (15 months and 3.5), so car seats are necessary for car service. I was hoping to only bring my convertible seat (for the 15 month old) and use a service that can offer a booster for my ds (3.5). When I booked, the Swan advised that they offer their own car service for 149 roundtrip, which doesn't sound like a bad deal. Thoughts? Suggestions?

There are several limo/car service companies frequently recommended on these boards. I used Tiffany Towncar based on a Mousesavers recommendation, I think. (Or maybe Touring Plans? Can't remember.)
$149 sounds very high unless it includes tip - I paid Tiffany about $110 RT a year ago from MCO to the Dolphin. Not sure if there would be a surplus for car seats, though. Mears has all kinds of transportation services from MCO - from car service to shared vans - so might be worth asking what they can do in terms of car seats.

Another vote for Tiffany. Have used them for many years, very happy with their service. And the free grocery stop is a great perk, as well.
PS - don't forget to print out the $5 coupon on their website.

We used Sun Star for transportation to the Swan. I was traveling alone with DD, driver met us in baggage claim, immediately offered to help with carry on bags, went to claim belt, got our bags and escorted us to an suv that had an inmaculate car seat for DD. Very professional, polite and courteous driver. All this for $110 RT, including grocery stop. I was extremely happy with their service.

Happy Limo is another one that is great. We use them and they have always had a booster in the car for us or you can request one. Not sure about the car seat as we were past that stage. It was under $149 RT I believe, but it's been 2 years.

We used Tiffany Towncar to the Dolphin in 2011 and were very happy with them. Actually I will be rebooking with them in the next few days for our June trip. I went with my brothers family and their daughters were roughly the same age as yours. If I remember correctly the van/SUV had both a booster and car seat so we didn't bring a car seat with us for the youngest. I don't believe the town-cars or limo only offer a booster?
The grocery stop came in extremely handy and almost worth of for the stop alone. It also let my SIL bring fewer diaper and baby supplies, because she got the rest at the grocery stop. If you check where the towncar stops in advance you can contact that grocery store and check if they carry what you need. ![]() Your other option would be The Mears shuttle. Have never used them but I believe it's $21 one way or $34 round trip per person. |

For 150 dollars round trip I would think depending on the length of your stay you could get a rental car for the much and have it when you need it. We just got back and had a full size car for 9 days for $221.00. Just my opinion.

The Swan Dolphin charges $14 a day for parking, so of you do decide to rent a car take that into consideration.
