Chef Mickey's or Mickey's BBQ?

We are staying at the Wilderness Lodge in October. We originally were going to go to Chef Mickey's but then saw Mickey's BBQ was right across the lake.

Which one should we choose? Thanks

Neither... I don't like CM at all and have not heard too good of reviews about Mickey's Backyard BBQ.

But, since you are staying at WL, I have to recommend taking to boat one night over to FW and checking out Chip n Dale's Singalong campfire. It's a lot of fun, Chip n Dale walk around and do meet n greets and photos and it's a nice change (and it's free-but don't tell anyone!!) Well you can purchase marshmallows and/or s'mores kits at the Chuck Wagon. I believe they also do Haunted Hayrides at FW as well during that time of the year.

Chef Mickeys....good food, good interaction and it's only one credit (or cheaper if paying OOP)

Kids? BBQ is a great time, meet and greet, music, characters dance with your kids, usually a lasso show, food consists of ribs, burgers and the such. It's the only place to see characters dressed in western garb. The chip n dale fire is definitely worth a trip too, smores, sing along, and movie. But no "real" food.

We absolutely love, love, love MBYBBQ!!!! We've done it twice and loved it both times. Lots of fun. But it is only on Thursday & Saturday evenings, and sadly it has been booked up for our last 2 trips. Just checked today for our trip in June and there is no availability for our week then either.
We've also done Chef Mickey several times and while the characters are great the food on the last couple times was just ok.
