No FD Pins this summer....Aaahhhh!
It seems that no one has received a free dining pin for this summer. Usually by now there have been pins sent out. Is anyone else frustrated and stressed that it may not happen this year?

Hoping for one but still going regardless. As a single mom we have to stay at a value which is fine as we love Pop. Free dining would be great though.

Frustrated yes, but we haven't given up hope yet. The current offer has to be booked by March 31 so I'm thinking something will come out April 1. Fingers crossed!

There is a new offer coming out on April 2. It is a room discount with the option to purchase discounted tickets good for dates through mid August.

Yes, it is frustrating waiting. The last three years at least there was hope with the waiting. This may be the year those free dining pins for summer that we were so lucky to receive have come to an end! Let's hope not though!!!

Frustrating it can be waiting for discounts/FD, so much so that it starts taking the fun out of Disney. We’ll be going in October regardless but, I’m not going to be too upset if nothing comes out. This coming from someone who has used FD the last 5-6 years and love it!! I can’t remember the last time I paid for a meal down there.
I’m just simply tired of playing the game to be honest. I’m tired of waiting every year for April (sometimes even later) to come around and hope and pray they throw us a bone. I’m tired of arranging my trip dates. Finding great flight deals but then needing to wait because Disney may or may not include those dates, so we wait even longer. Deciding to jump on these flight prices because there only going to go up after they've already gone up. O look!! Free dining came out but it starts the day after we were planning to get there… Can everyone in the party swing an extra night and split the stay so that we can check in and then check back out and then check back in the next day to take advantage of FD? With the money we’re saving with free dining we’ll still be making out. Wait a second… Disney decided to include our original arrival date, so now we’re locked into higher priced flights with the option to go back to the original date that we didn’t need to change in the first place. I’m tired of the game planning. I used to thrive on it, now I’m just sick of it. In the end, yes the money saved is great, but the stress is going to kill me! :O) We’re going, our dates are set and if discounts are applied for my dates, great! But I’m done doing the Disney dance. For the first time in years, I’ve had no stress and paid absolute ridiculously low prices for flights. Feeeeels gooood. Maybe I’m the only one that played this game in the past, and some of the stress was self-inflicting but I have a feeling I’m not the only one. |

I live in Texas and I keep seeing specials on TV that include dining. Which is kinda funny because it's just the spring offer that you can "add" dining to.

Now, think of the happiest things. It's the same as having wings.

You can't possibly know that a room discount will save more money for them than free dining. Free dining can save several hundred more dollars than a room discount depending on their party size, their ages, and the level of resort they stay in. For families, free dining is almost always the best deal.
