Need to send a cheque {check?} in US Dollars
Hello. In order to change the title on my DVC I need to send a cheque payable in US Dollars to DVC's Title Company. Anyone know anywhere I can arrange this and roughly how much it would cost??
Thanks Phil |

Your bank should have no troubles doing up a cheque for you in US Funds. The cost will be the exchange difference. And occassionally banks will charge a $5-$10 fee for printing a cheque.
(I am Canadian and have had many US Funds cheques done for me at my bank) |

Phil, Most UK banks will be able to offer this service and as an example, Halifax and Llyods charge £20.00 for an International Draft.
For Llyods check out 'Other ways to send money abroad. International Drafts" near to the bottom of the page at http://www.lloydstsb.com/travel/send...broad.asp#tab4 And for Halifax check out page 6 , Sending Money aboard by post at http://www.halifax.co.uk/onlinebanki...s-brochure.pdf I'm sure they will, but to be 100% sure first check with DVC that they will accept an International Draft, best of luck......
