runDisney Coming to Disneyland Paris in 2014?

Looks like it could be time for us to get in some training! I'd love it if runDisney does come to Disneyland Paris. 9 miles seems like a fair old distance to a non-runner like me, but if I'm running around the beautiful landscape of Disneyland Paris I'm sure I could get in the mood, and shape hopefully! It's make a great meet-up occasion too.

Who'd join me?

Oh I've been waiting for RunDisney to expand into other parks! Don't think I'll be able to make it back to Paris any time soon though... will have to wait for them to roll it out in HK

It might be a little more walkDisney for me but it would be great to have something to aim for. Let's hope Disney give us plenty of notice so we can get plenty of training in!

This is so exciting! I have a friend who did tinkerbell in California this year. I'm training to join her next year, but perhaps she can join me in Paris!

Wow!

They do different distances for different weekends in the States - the race for DLP was proposed to be 8/9 miles. Maybe they will build up to a 1/2 marathon!

This would be absolutely fantastic! I'm a super keen runner (doing the Paris marathon in three weeks and will be heading to DLP the following morning). and have alway fancied the Disneyworld marathon but the practicalities of getting my four-year-old to the US are far greater than getting her to Paris!

Keep me updated!!!

I've always been green with envy watching YouTube videos and photos of the runDisney event in WDW and longed to be able to take part... if this does come to fruition, my name will certainly be on the list of runners!

Exciting news!

The distance mentioned in the runDisney race survey was for a half marathon with the last 8 to 9 miles being run outside of the parks in the French countryside. A half marathon distance is 13.1 miles. The first part of the race would be run in the parks.

budgeting my vacation time already. It will be interesting to see the timing of this race. The Disneyland Half is the first weekend in September and the Wine and Dine Half at WDW is early in November.

I'm hoping that they leave enough time for travel and allow those of us who are truly crazy to participate. Coming from San Francisco, that's a heck of a commute
