Help! I can't get the reservation!

I have two little boys who are dying to go to TRex Cafe in August. Called today (first day of ADR) and none of my dates are available for dinner. Any ideas? I thought I read somewhere that you might be able to walk up but I don't want to rely on that. The kids will be crushed if we can't get in. There are no dinners available for the whole week!

I'm sure I read here that since they are not owned by Disney, they only make a few tables available through the Disney system. I think we have to call the restaurant directly to have a better chance of getting a table.

You should have no problem getting a reservation.

TRex releases as small %age of their inventory to Disney dining. Call them directly and you, most likely, be able to book the meal of you choice.

YES! Call them direct. A couple years ago I called the day we wanted and got our requested 5:30 dinner.

Glad it worked out for you! We've never made a reservation for T-Rex, and have always been able to get a table.

TRex is a hoot, with its meteor showers and grunting dinosaurs! And the food is decent. Hope you enjoy your visit!

T-Rex and Rainforest are exactly the same. Only a limited number of reservations go to WDW, the rest they make themselves. T-Rex is absolutely the btter of the two!

GREAT Tip! Thanks so much. I wish I knew this for our trip last year. Got our dinner reservation for late April.

FYI- The T-Rex Restaurant is part of the Landry group of restaurants, which also includes the Rainforest Cafe. If your birthday falls within the month you are visiting you can make out well by joining their rewards club at www.landrysselect.com

There is however a $25 fee, which is returned to your membership as $25 welcome reward. Then you will also receive a $25 Birthday reward that can be used during the month of your birthday. It's like getting $50 worth of food for $25. Great for families on a budget or deal seekers like me

yes, you have to call them directly. IDK why the DIsney CMs do not tell guests that when they call looking for ressies.
