Splittsville pricing
Is anyone else disgusted by how expensive this place is?
$15-20 per person shoes included price depends on day of week & time of day. 1-2 people 1hr $15-40 3 people 1.25hr $45-60 4-5 people 1.5hr $60-100 6-8 people 1.75hr $90-160 at the newest bowling alley in Cleveland 11 members of my family bowled for 4hrs played 4 games each and 9 rented shoes for $125 on a Saturday night. that amount of people and time would be over $400.

1) You don't think they planned it this way? 2) Let's face it, space rent at Disney is major expensive. 3) They have to get paid some how. 4) This way, it doesn't LOOK like it will be big bucks. NOTE: We like to sit at the outside bar and drink while we wait for the show time at the movies. We once heard a big family walking out complaining about the prices. They just did not figure it out ahead of time.

I have to agree everything is expensive at Disney and Splittsville is described as a luxury Bowling facility so it is expected to come with a hefty price tag anytime anything has luxury in the title.
Luxury Car is a perfect example. I am sure it is a lot cleaner than some of our local bowling alleys. I am happy our family doesn't care if we bowl on vacation. I was able to cross Splittsville off our upcoming trip. I understand your concern! There are many other activities at Disney to participate in! Good Luck!

I agree that it is a bit more expensive than I expected. We most likely will not be bowling there. Besides, then I would have to lug my ball and shoes on vacation too! I can't stand using the ally ball and shoes!!!

I wonder if it is any more expensive than say Lucky Strike lanes in NYC and other locations. They won't even quote a price online. I feel like Splittsville is the same type of place. And it certainly isn't you neighborhood/bowling league bowling alley. Far from it.

We actually bowled at Splits on 2/27 from 10:30pm til closing for our friend's 30th bday. We had lane 13 upstairs, 4 people. It was definitely a fun time. The music was fun, and the setup was great. Our server wasn't great, and felt the need to share with me repeatedly how annoying it was to ring up the disney dining plan for her. Ok.... Hahaha. I can see that, but honey keep it to yourself. Then at 11:30 she came by and said "did you want anything else? because the kitchen's closed" Umm ok thanks? We didn't want anything else luckily lol. The food was decent bar food, we got a pizza and the loaded fries and brownie sundae. For us it was worth the money to do something fun and different for a friend's big birthday. It was also our last night in wdw. I will say we all (men and women) found the shoes to be super wide! We all had to size down to accommodate that and they were still wide. |

If the lanes stay full, then the price is right.
If they don't, the Disney will adjust. |
