I have total sticker shock! When did these rooms become so high??

Which would you do and why?
I voted for POR because we've stayed at CBR and I would choose somewhere we hadn't stayed before to try it out. If you've stayed at both POR and CBR in the past, I would go with the one you liked the most. We've never stayed at a value and have no desire to, so a moderate would be my choice. Good luck.

I would do Pop and plan on breakfast in the room because the food court is so crazy in the mornings.

I picked up a couple of bananas and some juice when I first arrived at Pop to go with my morning granola bar and I was all set for a few hours each morning. If you were driving and could stop at a grocery store, you could save more money getting them there.

I stayed at Pop for 2 nights in Dec. 2012 and it was perfect for me.

LMAO

This is pretty much how we ended up doing a Club Level Room at the Beach Club this trip after starting at POR. Small incremental changes and now I'm like

TOTALLY ME TOO!
(our flights for May went down $80. I was so excited and asked my husband to call and rebook to get the credit. His response? "NO." - What! - His logic "I am not getting an $80 credit for flights which will cause you to want to book another $5000 Disney Vacation in just a few months just so you can use the $80 airline credit." Not a bad point. )

Hi Nicki!

I voted CBR -
Why? I have been reading your dining reports forever - and I know you and Todd are not HUGE lovers of the Values - (Yes they can be a ton of fun) - but for you guys I think spending a little extra for a Mod would be a wise investment. A little extra space a some amenities would increase the quality of a short stay.

None! Seriously. I'd either rent points or stay at Bonnet Creek.

If you are going to go park commando, go with the cheapest option. All of the Disney resorts provide clean, comfortable rooms, transportation, and EMH. Save the cash this time to enjoy more things at the parks.

What are your plans while there?
Stay at the resort a lot & enjoy it?
Park early in the morning & stay all day?

If you won't be in the room much, go with the cheapest room.
