Haha yes we might well have met before! It was a one time thing - I knew from then on I had to duck or make sure the person in front of me was substantially taller than me lol!

Lol, where did you sit? When we rode it, we sat in back row. Literally, not a drop on us.

We've ridden JPRA dozens of times and only once did we get drenched. But we did get drenched! It all depends on the weight distribution in the boat and where you sit.

Yep we have come off of this ride.............drenched.......or dry as a bone.......or just a few splashes.

It really does vary with weight distribution on the boat and where you are.

DS took a picture of us last year just before we got off (he wasn`t on the boat) and I am bone dry.....DH is very wet....and the lady in front of me is drenched.

It`s different every time.

I think we were in the front row and the second row...drenched every time. Maybe this time we will try to sit towards the back

When we rode JP I didn't get wet at all the first time. The second time we got soaked. I just looked at my daughter and the lady next to me and cracked up. It so unexpected!

We were the second to last row both times!

Yes you can do that cause I always wear ball caps and any ride I think it will fly off I just take it off and sit on it and flip flops you can do the same thing

Be advised that they have gotten a little paranoid since the Dueling Dragons incidence a couple of years ago and sometimes will tell you that you can't take anything off. I was told this on a few occasions but it was very inconsistent.

Been going since 2005 I have never been told I can't take my hat off and my wife takes her flip flops off and sits on them and never been told she couldn't and its more dangerous to keep them on cause they could fly off and no chance on that if your sitting on them

There were two separate occasions in which guests were struck with flying objects.
