2 years ago we cruised in August. I think it rained a little on Castaway Cay but can't be sure.

We cruised last August 10, 4 nights on the Dream, and no rain. Our CC day was amazing weather, my biggest complaint was that the ocean water was so WARM! It was like bathwater! lol
We didn't leave the ship in Nassau, but the weather was lovely.

i'd be more concerned about a hurricane than a little rain. It's too hard to predict the weather from one august to the next.

Late August last year. It rained after we left PC at night. Lots if lightning later but it was far away. Then in the afternoon of Nassau.

Late August 2009 and again 2011, no rain but you could see that the captain was sailing away from it.
