restaurant/nursury reservations ?

This may come as a very dumb question but as a first time Disney cruiser I'm not sure which to do first....at 125 days out book the adult specialty restaurant for dinner for 6 of us or book the nursery first? Or does the same representative on the phone book both coordinating the availability of the restaurant and nursery times?

We will want an early dinner reservation so are those easier to come by?
We're on the Magic for 5 nights over Thanksgiving.
Thanks!!

Since you are a first-time cruiser, you won't be able to book anything until 75 days out. You can't call for any of that. You must log into your reservation online and take care of it, unless your TA will do it for you. Booking opens at midnight ET. I would suggest you take care of dining reservations first. Also, you won't get a reservation for 6 people. You will have to do separate reservations for 2 or 4, then have them linked once you are onboard.

Thanks....oops, I meant to say 75 days. I didn't know about the midnight ET thing. Do people seriously stay up until midnight to book this ? Sounds like Black Friday type sales ! Is it that difficult to get dining reservations?

Yes they do. Years ago it was midnight PT to 3 a.m. ET and yes I was one of those who stayed up until then to get a reservation. We were able to book at 105 days as gold CC members and reservations went quickly. It isn't like that on every cruise. Great comparison to Black Friday adrenaline! Our cruise group stayed up chatting online until then and decompressed together for a little while afterwards. It helped to take the edge off the disappointment if you didn't get what you wanted booked.

OMG, this made me LOL, so funny. We have almost 600 nights on a different cruise line yet I've never heard of staying up till midnight to make dinner reservations at a specialty restaurant. Now that I think of it, I've done similar to get f.f. airline tix so I can relate. I guess this is what ya have to do on these large ships.
Thanks for all the good advice.
