Stuck in atlanta- what ideas do you have?

So...you know what they say about the best laid plans....

I had carefully planned a five day trip to atlanta, hitting all the major tourist spots: CNN, fernbank, world of coke, aquarium, MLK, medieval times, zoo atlanta. Now, because of the snowstorm hitting the northeast, our flight was cancelled and we moved our departure to Friday night. We have two days with no plans! Help! Any suggestions on what we can do to keep us busy? Kiddos from 6 to 12 in the mix....thanks for any help!

Legoland, Botanical Gardens, Shopping at Phipps or Lenox (even Discover Mills or Mall of Georgia)...

If you have girls, there's the American Girl store & bistro.

I visited a CW museum years and years ago that was really good, but I don't remember which one it was. (And I'm not a CW buff). So, I thought I'd share the page above.

And here is another list of things to do:

There is an American girl store there, Olympic park, the varsity is a fun stop. (Worlds largest drive in I believe. CNN gives tours. Also google if there are any festivals or craft fairs going on.

Stone Mountain (you can easily spend an entire day there) and be sure to stop by the Varsity by GA Tech for the best chili dogs in the world!

Trip Advisor has never steered me wrong!

You could also consider day trips to Athens, Callaway Gardens, Augusta, etc.
