They haven't required men to wear jackets in Palo for many years.
I have heard of them turning people away who were wearing jeans.
Brunch has always been more casual than dinner.

Capris are fine. I have seen countless number of women wearing them. All looked perfectly acceptable

Hubby did not wear a jacket last week to palo dinner. Most men did not

They will turn u away in shorts or jeans. Have seen that happen a few times.

i saw them turn a fellow in shorts away at brunch at Palo. I have worn dressy capris and I was very comfortable. I would not have been in casual capris. Decide for yourself and then enjoy! If you are comfortable with what you are wearing, do not worry about everyone else!!!

Edit: I just bought a very dressy pair of capris and a top to match - way nicer than any sundress I own. I would not hesitate to wear them to the nicest restaurant in town (or Palo)! Black tie - no, but nice date night dressy - yes!!!

Disney's dress code is crystal clear. Palo is well known for enforcing dress code, and such enforcement is appreciated by many who dine there.

Others say they have worn them with no problem, but be prepared to be asked to leave and change. There appears to be a good chance you won't be turned away, but why deliberately wear what they ask you not to wear? If you follow their guidelines I guarantee you won't be turned away!! And you will love eating at Palo.

At brunch on the 4 night Dream I also wore dressy capris and a fancy top. I felt as if I fit in very nicely with the majority of the women there. Except for the woman who wore thick cotton shorts (think sweatpants material) and a t-shirt.. If they accepted that outfit, I can't imagine what they would turn away?

And FWIW, when was that dress code written? Aside from the business world, do most women even wear pantsuits anymore?

We have never cruised Disney before. I was wondering if brunch is less formal than dinner in Palo? Sounds like husband might not need a jacket. Input would be appreciated.

Palo dress code is different for dinner and brunch. Brunch is cruise casual just like most nights in the main dining rooms.

OK. So they bent the rules for you!

Sadly, past "ignoring" of the rules does not always mean "this is the new norm"

It's like the folks with the too big carry on who got away with it on one flight and then have hysterical fits when the next Gate Agent catches it. Standing there screaming "I did it last time" is not a good defense (Nor is "but someone on the DIS told me the rule wouldn't apply to ME" LOL!)

It appears from a lot of the posts that they didn't bend the rules for "me"--it seems a lot of women wear capris in Palo for brunch. And since they greet you at the door, it isn't as if someone didn't "catch it." I am sure they check out every person that approaches the podium to be seated.
