Wow,no kidding??

Last year,at the adult beach, there were tons of sand chairs at the waters edge. Maybe there are different rules for the different beaches

Nothing like having a No-No finger waved at you to put a damper on things........

So, I really can't take the little chair to the edge of the water and put my feet in?

Get a Cabana.... Sooo worth the splurge... You get your own hammock and tubes and lots of chairs... It was fabulous (and our one big treat on the ship)!

Are there any extra trees where it might be possible to hang up your own small hammock? ( I have a "travel" size one ). Or would I get hollered at?

I am interested in trying the slide out first thing, which tram stop do we get off for it?

We have only been to castaway cay once last April on the Dream and maybe I missed something but we found it incredibly difficult to find seats. I checked out both beaches near cookies 1 and 2 and except for empty chairs with people's stuff on them ther weren't many. We found some nice people who shared a chair they had near them. We absolutely loved castaway cay.
We are going on the Fantasy this April and are really looking forward to CC again.

Thanks for all the great replys. We do not care about hammocks so it sounds like we are fine. We would like a chair close to the water so we can relax while our DS plays in the water. I am thinking we will head to the second stop and get a chair there. We are morning people so we will be off the boat first thing. We want to enjoy CC for the full day.

Is there also a beach area at the Pelican Plunge tram stop? And this area is close to a restaurant? Thanks, first cruise is a month away!

Yes and Yes. Plenty of beach area around the second tram spot and Cookies Too BBQ is in that area as well. Same food served as the regular Cookies BBQ at the other end of the beach.

Just get off the second tram stop and follow the path towards the beach...you can go left and park yourself at the end of the family beach or go right and park yourself at the other new part of the family beach.

Here is a pic and view from where we were at the end of the family beach.

View to the right of where we were:

View to the left of where we were (Pelican Plunge is to the left of Heads Up Bar):

It's not as easy as that though is it? On our cruise the cabanas were all snatched up by concierge and platinum. I would have loved one!!!

Don't Forget

FYI!! Everyone including children will need their key Card (KTWK) to get off the ship even at Castaway Cay. Make sure you have it or you will have to go back to your stateroom to get it.
