Question ADRs: Your opinion

My Fiance and I are getting the Dining plan for when we go in May and we are going to some new restaurants that surprisingly I have not been to! :0 I know! But I was wondering on all of your opinions on these places: Boma (dinner), T Rex(dinner), Tusker House (breakfast/lunch), Sci -Fi Dine In(lunch), San Angel Inn(dinner). Let me know your opinions!! I chose these places because we have never been to them before and I want to try new places!

I've had Boma, but only for breakfast. but my dad absolutely loves it all the time. & I've been to T-Rex for dinner & it was pretty good, however I had the Dino nuggets, on the kids meal :P but I would recommend both. they haven't disappointed anyone in my family!

We dined at Boma last year, and it was really good. Have eaten at T-Rex a couple of times, but been a couple of years, best I can remember we enjoyed it. We are dining at Sci-Fi for the first time this year. Have not tried the other 2.

The ones on your list that my family has tried:

Boma dinner -- IMO the best buffet at WDW. Great food, nice theming.
T Rex dinner -- we had a great lunch there. Good food and great decor.
Sci-Fi lunch -- always have lunch at the Sci-Fi. Fun place, cool and relaxing, good food.
San Angel Inn -- had a great meal there last summer -- and nice theming there, too!

The only one we have tried on your list is Tusker house for breakfast and my whole family enjoyed it very much. It is a character meal and they were great. We did not feel rushed and the food was some of the better breakfast buffet food

Boma - pretty good, havent been since 2008
Trex- great
Tusker - eh didnt care for the breakfast 2 years in a row, so we didnt go last year and its not on our list for this year
San Angel - didnt care for this past year the service wasnt great - and we thot it odd we had a table in corner that was less than 4 inches from a 2-seater (we are a party of 3 with a preschooler) and it was lunch time much of the tables were empty and they seated a honeymooning couple in that table 4 inches from ours. We felt bad our son was talking and laughing (he wasnt being crazy but he was being 4) when there were SOO many empty tables, many of which remained empty the whole meal. Food was so/so. We are going to try La Hacienda this year.

We have a Trex here in Kansas City, and I really don't like the food, overpriced, flavorless, but there is a lot of it. The experience is fun though, and it's worth going once for that.

We loved Tusker House. We went once for the character lunch and had a blast. The food was good and the kids got a lot of character interaction time. We had always been a little aprehensive to try it because we have a couple picky eaters in the family and some of the African cuisine looks a little "scary" but there were plenty of options. Everyone ate well!

We ate breakfast at Tusker House earlier this month and the food was very good. There were a lot of good things on the buffet. And the characters were great.

I think you, will love Sci-Fi, Boma is one of our must-do places, personally,I would replace Tusker with Y&Y, San Angel is one of our least favourite places;but it is a lovely location if you are seated near the boats, T.Rex is a show in and of itself;spectacular! However, it is a cousin of Rainforest and the food is similarly chain restaurant fare. I'd stop in for a cocktail but dine at Raglan Road or Wokfgang Puck's

Tuskershouse for breakfast is a must do every trip! Great variety of food, atmosphere.
Been to Sci Fi once for dinner and it was ok. Neat atmosphere to try once but thought was a little to dark.

We always do 50's Prime Time Cafe in HS, but this year I added on Sci-Fi. I was skeptical, but it turned out to be one of our favorites. It was a nice change because it was dark and quiet and you got to really relax. A nice change from some of the very loud restaurants. We enjoyed it so much, we added on another meal at Sci-Fi before we left. The menu was the same for lunch and dinner and the vanilla shakes were great.
We went to T-Rex a year ago, and we enjoyed both the food and environment. I actually liked the food better than the Rainforest Cafe. I would give it a try.

All the choices look like fun.

If you've never been to any of them, go.
