Market in Bahamas

We are not going on any excursions while in Bahamas. However, we would like our kids to see the market. How far is the market from port? Can we walk there?

Less than a 5 minute walk if you are referring to the Straw Market.

We didn't plan any excursions in Nassau either and we also wanted out oldest DD10 to see the Straw Market. Yes, it was a very short walk. I think we were off the ship for a total of about an hour and a half and it was enough. It wasn't too exciting, but it was a good learning experience for her.
