The Art Of The Theme Ship Tour On Fantasy

I read a recent navigator that says you had to book this at guest services. Last time we cruised you just had to meet at Palo, so it is true you have to book at guest services now?

On the Fantasy, you had to meet at Meridian.

You do have to get tickets for this from guest services. We weren't aware of this, but when we were booking the galley tour the cast member at guest services thought we might be intrestesed in this tour as well. We had planned taking this tour, but didn't realize we needed tickets. So she set us up for the tme slot that we wanted.

So yes, you need tickets for this.

The last time we did the tour on the Fantasy we had to get tickets at GS. Must say the tour was the least informative tour we've taken. We've done the Magic tour and the Dream tour and both were 10x better than the Fantasy tour. If you've never done the tour I would say do it but if you've done the Dream tour I'd skip the Fantasy tour.

This will vary based on who is leading the tour. We found ours to be a lot of fun and very, very informative.

On our Dec 2012 Fantasy cruise, tickets were required and were free.

Yes, my husband took this tour on the Fantasy and had to book at Guest Services. He also did one on the Magic. He thought both tours were very similar on the Magic and the Fantasy.

So you can do a Galley tour? Can we do this on the Fantasy?? We've done it on other cruise lines and loving doing these! Would be awesome if we could do it on Disney for once! What other tours are you able to do?

Yes, the Fantasy is offering galley tours on sea days, although they are not listed in the navigators. You can visit guest services to get free tickets.

The main tour on the Fantasy that is advertised is the Art of Theme Tour, which is a general tour of public areas of the ship focused on the design and artwork. This similar tour is offered across DCL.
