Best non character breakfast for MK

Of course, for our first morning, we will be going to Magic Kingdom. The kids are going to be super excited to get to the park and ride some rides so we don't want to spend a bunch of time (or $$$) at a character breakfast. Where should we go? It doesn't necessarily have to be in Magic Kingdom. We're staying offsite so we can easily stop at one of the resorts on the way to the park. TIA

We like to go to Sleepy Hollow over near Liberty Square and get Mickey Waffles. There are tables outside that have the most lovely view of the castle. Its become a family tradition.

We also like to get Tonga Toast at Captain Hook's at the Polynesian. Its fabulous!

Both of these are counter services.

Kona at the Poly. Delicious food and it didn't take too long. After you can hop on the monorail and head to MK.

I'll second the Kona recommendation.

Another vote for Kona! Tonga toast and macadamia pineapple pancakes are among the great choices they have for breakfast.

I like the Grand Floridian Café for breakfast. Their maple-vanilla French toast is wonderful, as are several of the egg dishes.
