New DVC Merchandise

We recently returned from WDW. I was going to purchase the new DVC windbreaker jacket. They even had my size. (3XL) Which is usually hard to find. My DW told me to grab one ... I hesitated and then never went back to get it. Now I see on the Disney Store that they are sold out. I blew it.... Does anyone know where I might still be able to purchase one of these jackets? I figure I won't be able to find one now but thought if anyone knew where I might find one it would be the disboards... Thanks for any help, advice or information. At least I learned a valuable lesson... Always listen to my DW.

Have you tried the WDW Merchandise Mail Order service?

http://allears.net/tp/mailorder.htm

I wouldn't trust the online Disney Store, as they have a very limited stock available or park merchandise.

Wow. Thanks! I can't believe it, but I didn't know about this! I think I used this a LONG time ago to get a mug I saw in a shop but I had forgotten all about this service.

That's a great idea... We have done that in the past for Christmas presents. Thanks for the advice. I'll give it a shot.

As of Tuesday the gift shop just off the lobby at BW still had these windbreakers. I don't know what sizes but it looked like a pretty good number. I wish I were still there. I would gladly go and check for you.

When we forget to pick something up, we call WDW merchandising at 407-363-6200. They have shoppers that go out and find the items, then ship them.

Mike I hope you can find the windbreaker. BTW, grab one of the men's DVC fleece if you don't already have it. I wear mine around the house on chilly days.

Well... Tried the mail order route. Emailed Disney. Got a response and after a few emails back and forth ... no luck. The merchandise rep didn't quite understand the item I was asking for.. I sent the item number and even attached a picture. No luck. So I just considered this a lesson learned. Buy it when you see it.

Thanks everyone for the advice and tips... It was worth a try.

Keep checking the online Disney Store as the first few times I checked they didn't have the size I wanted and later it popped back up and I was able to backorder it. Good luck. I like mine.

The Disney store item number may be different than the on site item number. Try giving the shop you saw it in a call and ask for the info perhaps?

I am at BWV. They have the fleece member jacket in 3X. The clerk is checking for the wind breaker. There is no 3X here, just LG.
