How late is Beast at BOG for after dinner pictures? - The DIS Discussion Forums

Does anyone know how late Beast stays for after dinner for pictures? Does he leave when the park closes? or not until all diners are finished with dinner and the chance to meet him? Anyone know?

I was able to get an 8:10 ADR for a night when MK closes at 9PM. They are taking reservations up until 9 PM that night. Seeing Beast will be very important, so I will try and get an earlier time if he leaves before the restaurant closes.

I was there late this past Tuesday and he stayed to 10:15pm

We went in January. Our reservation was at 7:45 but we didn't get in the restaurant until closer to 8:20 or so. The park closed at 9. Around 9:00 our server and the Beast's "handler" came and told us we could go get a picture with the Beast. I think he probably left about 30 minutes after that but we had ample warning and even though we were still eating we were invited to do our picture during our meal (usually you have to wait until you are done eating, do the picture on your way out and then leave immediately after). We were able to get the girls' photo done, go back to our table and order dessert.

My experience was very similar in December. Our ressie was for 8:35 and we were seated at about that time. As we were finishing our meal, the handler let us know that Beast would be leaving in about half an hour, and we were invited to take the photo, then return to our table. All we needed to do was pay so we took care of that, then met Beast before exploring the restaurant. It was a little bit rushed...they did not allow individual photographs, only ones with the entire party, as they were trying to get everyone through the line before he had to go.

Is there a photopass photographer? And if so, does he stay as long as Beast does? Solo traveler here...and since I prepaid for pp+ I'd love to get some shots with Beast

We were there last week and there was a Photopass guy there. When they sat us they asked us to wait until we finished dinner to go see the Beast and to look around (it was not near the end of the night so we had plenty of time after dinner). When we went to see the Beast there was no one else there. We got a lot of pictures - each of us individually and the whole family with the Beast.

Ditto. We had reservations for 8:40 pm, the Beast made two passes through dining room, and after we finished eating we took photos in an anteroom with photopass photographer. The place was closing we were one of three families left in the restaurant. It was 10 pm when we left. I love this place! The food was excellent. This was Feb.23rd.
