In a heartbeat! I've been obsessed with the Titanic since I was a little girl. I do however wish he'd give her a different name. =\

I would love to...I expect though that the cost of this cruise will be $$$$$$$$$ way out of what most people can afford.

Though I would love to take a tour while in port, I just couldn't bring myself to sail on her.

This is just my opinion but I think it is insanely disrespectful to all of the people that passed on the Titanic to have someone create a new one to try to make an insane amount of money off of it!

This being said I have done so much research and reading on the Titanic and the reality of it is that as heart wrenching as scences in the movie were, the actual event was a million times worse. Nothing glorified about it...

I saw this on the news last night.
They showed the original area, like a cabin, exercise area, pool, etc, then overlapped it with the new area.

In terms of design, it comes close in those areas as far as looking original.
An Australian billionaire says this has been his personal dream, to make his fascination a reality.

Supposedly, the most expensive cabin on board could cost a million dollars-for one cruise!

The great granddaughter of Molly Brown said her great grandmother would be the first in line to get back on,as she was always sad that she never got to complete her cruise.

As for me,I agree with a previous poster-I might not mind walking around, but I couldn't sail her. We do the muster now because of the loss of life on that particular ship, and I'm upset as it is that the muster is not taken as seriously as it used to be. You don't even have to put your life jacket on anymore or know how to use it,just carry it, on most ships.
But I understand those people who feel that this will be as close as they can get to that part of history..........

If someone else paid I'd go. Not sure I'd shovel over my own heard earned money, though. In this case, I think there is a fine line between exploiting a tragedy and as he says, basically rebuilding a fantasy and living a dream. A tour-I'd pay with my own money to do if it were in fact really close to the original.
Oh-if he opts to do something like put pictures of the original or pictures of people who lost their lives on board-FORGET IT! THAT would be a deal breaker for me.

sure, as long as it had enough lifeboats. Don't think I'd even be able to afford steerage though.

If the price was right (unlikely!) and the itinerary interesting, absolutely!

I would absolutely go. Having been on the maiden voyage on the Fantasy it was so much fun I promised myself I would do it again if given the opportunity. I'm not sure what's in store for this maiden voyage but Disney maiden voyages are not to be missed.
