Swimming on Checkout Day
We will have a full park day on the day we checkout. If we want to take a midday break to swim, is there dressing area/restrooms near the pool to change in & out of swimsuits?
Thanks! |

the Royal Pacific allows you to shower and change in the gym locker rooms (very near the pool). It was great - robes, towels, toiletries, hair dryers all provided. I even sat in the steam room for a bit. I loved being clean and relaxed headed back to the airport.

rph and the other 2 onsite hotels have facilities for those guests that have checked out and use the pool that last day.

So, if you check out and go to the park and then want to swim....
Do you have to have a separate bag that you store in a locker with your swimsuit? Or will bell hop get the bags you left after check out so you can get your things? Trying to figure out how this would work.....

this is what i do.
i pack my luggage completely. i pack the swim wear and a change of clothes for the plane ride back home. i put those packed items in a double plastic bag and tie it to the handle of the luggage. i then check my bags with valet once i check out of the hotel. when i return from the parks late day, i go to the hotel valet and ask them to bring me only that plastic bag that is tied to the handle. this simplifies the situation for me. i have only what i need and can reuse those bags to pack what i take off. once i finally leave the hotel for the airport, i only have to put the plastic carry bag in my suitcase.

The Bell people at Universal (and Disney) have always been sure to tell me that if I need a bag later on that they are happy to get it for us.
