Things can get hairy..
I am in a sad state of mind as I can't imagine not to make my daughter wish and dream come true at 4 on her first Disney Trip. She wants badly the Disney's newest princess costume - PRincess Sofia and I checked everywhere and it is nowhere to be found. disney.com all sold out. If you have by any chance new or used one in size 4 that I could buy form you please private message me at
my user ID on hotmail.com I can't post my emial addres in fear that it will be deleted and I am really despearate. |

Have you looked on Etsy? There are people who make replicas, that are nicer than the park version.

Just checked eBay and there are tons of Sofia dresses listed. You can even get it with her amulet and tiara. I don't know what size you need but go to eBay and I'm sure you'll find what you need.

There are lots of reputable etsy sellers--just check their ratings. And you can get different materials like cotton instead of the hotter scratchy materials that costumes often are.

Made for Mermaids
I recently found this site on Etsy and love her outfits. They are all made of cotton and look very cute and comfortable for the little girls. Check her out. I have not bought from her yet, but love the more everyday look.

Another vote for Etsy - I order a lot of items from there and it's a great site.
Just from casually looking at princess-wear for the future, I can tell the quality is MUCH better than the Disney store (and usually for about the same price). I just went there and typed in both "Princess Sophia Dress" and "Princess Sofia Dress" and a lot of options came up. If time is a factor, you can usually pay a bit more for a rush order.

Have you contacted the disney store personal shoppers? They were able to locate two Sofia dolls for me at an out of state disney store.

Funny enough - I have a size 4 Sophia dress that we bought at disneystore as soon as they came out. We saved it to give to my daughter for her bday and she doesnt want to wear it! we have crown and neckless as well lol!
Not sure what to do, maybe we'll sell it...she has every other dress...very odd indeed. Last edited by DVC BLT; 03-02-2013 at 01:26 PM. |
