A Visual Journey Down Harbor Blvd: motels & restaurants; An Attempt to Help

Hi All,

There are always so many questions here about how close are various hotels, where are they, what's Harbor Blvd like, etc....

I was at the Park this weekend and had a thought when I was driving down Harbor Blvd. I wanted to try to help fellow DISers. Hope this does just that.

These are in order driving down Harbor towards the freeway. Here you go...

Ramada Maingate

Best Western Anaheim Inn

Denny's, Del Sol Inn, Desert Inn & Suites

View across the street (See Space Mountain?)

Captain Kidd's, IHOP, Best Western Park Place

Tropicana Inn & Suites

Camelot Inn & McDonalds

Fairfield Inn

Howard Johnson's (HoJos) over the hill and right before the freeway

Hope someone finds this helpful,
Dreams

This is a good idea, but I think Google Street View beat you to it!

I love googlemaps! I just know not everyone is comfortable with it or knows how to use it. Just thought I'd snap a few pics to try to help out.

What is the point in commenting only to post something negative? I really don't understand why you do that on a thread that is purely created with the idea of one person trying to help others. There are 100s of threads on which you can offer something helpful to someone else. Why bother going through the efforts of posting something negative on this thread that obviously does not interest you? I just don't get it.

Nope, you didn't miss it. I did. I didn't get a picture of every motel there. Looks like I missed Park Vue Inn. It's right in the mix there, I think early on right around iHop.

After Denny's, before IHOP. In the IHOP picture you can see a bit of a black iron fence in the foreground- that is either it or right next door

Thanks Dreams- that is great!

Thanks for the photo tour. I am planning my first trip and this is helpful. It is pretty much what I had expected. I am looking forward to finding a good, inexpensive motel that is a 10-15 minute walk to the park gate.

It is so different from Disney World! I can certainly understand why Walt Disney wanted to build in his own huge yard to build in.

(Don't take offense, I think Patrick was just gently teasing about Google street view. I have used street view, but still enjoyed your photo tour)
