My kids are wild sleepers and we had no issues with the rails

Wonder Mexican Riviera(2011), Magic Eastern(2012), Wonder Pacific Coast(2014), Wonder Alaska(2014), Wonder Vancouver Repo(2014)

I would feel much worse if they had to replace a soiled mattress!!! I'm glad to know this is an option. DS4 has been accident-free for a while, but I always worry outside the house.

we put the 3yo on top bunk because of the rail, the 6yo was on the bottom bunk
