Travel Insurance - Need Help

I am sure there are several threads regarding Travel Insurance here already. However, I have to make a quick decision and the DisBoards have the search function disabled right now.

I know Disney's cost but I also know they do not offer pre-existing conditions.
Can anyone help me with this? Who do you use and why?

Not sure exactly what your question is, but you can get a comprehensive list of various insurances at www.*****************

We use www.***************** for insurance. It's a insurance comparison site, so several companies are represented there.

Depending on what coverages you want, the prices will vary.

I will check out that website. Does anyone have any particular company that they like to use?

We have used Travelex because kids are free with them. We have also used Travel Safe. We have used trip insurance store because they have helped me navigate PXC issues and get the best policy for our needs. You can do a search from them

I have used www.***************** and went with Allianz Classic for my family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children). Feel free to call them - they're super helpful.

I'm in agreement with the other posters - check *****************. They provide side by side comparison plus will answer your questions for you. There are a few that offer pre-existing conditions.

Luckily I haven't needed the insurance, however I've gotten it for every cruise and I always make sure pre-existing is covered.

Question Question on cancellation before penalty date

If you buy insurance for a trip to cover pre-existing conditions you usually have to do do within a short time after an initial payment. I have booked on the Southern Caribbean cruise for Sept 2014. But have until July 2014 to REALLY decide if we are going. I want to get the pre-existing conditons for my Dad who just got diagnosed with a-fib. But if we don't actually take the cruise and cancel before any penalties I assume I still have to pay the insurance premium. Correct or no?

Just used ***************** this evening. Because we did an obb in june and my mother has preexisting conditions we only had one option. However we paid about $420 for 2 adults and 1 child. My sister was able to insure herself, husband and my other 2 nephews for about a $100 less.
